Black Boys More Often Reported Missing
As always, activists try to pin such things on “systemic racism”

According to media reports, Black boys make up a disproportionate number of kids reported missing to Toronto Police. More than 40% of all male youth that have been reported missing to Toronto Police are Black, whereas Black people make up less than 9% of the population in Toronto.
Blacks are disproportionately represented in Canadian prisons (8% of inmates Vs. 4% of the population). They commit a disproportionate number of violent crimes, for example 13% of murders in Canada in 2024. Black kids underperform academically and are far more likely to seriously misbehave (on average) in schools. All of this is chalked up to systemic racism by woke activists. They don’t have any evidence for that, but hey, you can’t prove, with certainty, that it’s not true, can you? By the way Whites are generally in second place in all these categories with Asians a mile behind.
So the question is, why? Why are black kids going missing so often? You would think it would be a challenge for the activists to play the systemic racism card regarding the missing boys issue. After all, the main reason kids run away is because the home situation is intolerable. Running away is a big move that most kids would not even consider. Why would you leave a place where you get the necessities of life along with love and support?
You’d be wrong according to activist Shana McCalla, who last year founded Find Ontario Missing Boys (here’s her GoFundMe page). I guess “missing boys” sounds more inclusive than “missing black boys” which is what she seems concerned about. She is calling “for more urgency in [police] response[s] to the needs of marginalized communities…” She adds “I think there are a lot of systemic issues here” and goes on to say “[Black boys are] being stereotyped and portrayed as runaways and there’s a lack of urgency”. She’s claiming, without providing evidence, that the cops aren’t working as hard to find these missing Black kids as they do for other kids. Even if that were true, that would not explain why so many more Black kids take off in the first place.
Of course she provides no evidence that the main cause of these kids going missing is something other than running away, nor does she offer any evidence that black youth are going missing for different reasons than other youth. She also says “our boys aren’t getting the proper resources and help they need” and complains about limited services dedicated to mental health, social intervention, and community programming for affected families”. If she’s claiming that Blacks are denied resources and help that others get, she hasn’t presented any evidence of that either.
For their part, the police report that 99.7% of all individuals reported missing have been found since the missing persons unit was established back in 2018.
Based on everything we know about the disproportionate levels of Black people in society who are not doing well and causing problems for themselves and others in various ways, it is pretty obvious that Black families are disproportionately dysfunctional.
But admitting that, and trying to do something about it, would be really hard work and would require admitting that Blacks are not winding up in bad situations entirely, or even mostly, due to “systemic issues” but rather due to a disproportionate level of social dysfunction.
It’s much easier to blame the system and set up a GoFundMe page.
Although the number of Black kids who go missing is the highest among racial groups, it is important to remember that, in absolute terms, they make up a minority of missing kids. We need to throw away the “critical lens” and focus on the root causes of family dysfunction, without regard to race. We would certainly find similar issues at the bottom of it, regardless of race, and racism would likely not be much of a factor, if any. After all, the families these Black kids are running away from are Black.

Not so many years ago, we received police reports that described the offender's colour, i.e. white male or black male, which is kind of important if you wish to have a witness come forward with information. Why do they not give this very important, if not crucial, information anymore?
Is it woke bullshit ideology that prevents this?, Stupidity? Perhaps it is the Mayors everywhere who appoint black or East Indian Police Chiefs with limited IQs for brownie points with their electorate without even a modicum of common sense!
Ask yourself, do we not have some very bright, hard-working, dedicated white Canadians who would do a better job but it is not even that, do you not think that just perhaps their allegiance to our country is not greater than some immigrant who wants to make things bend to his country of origin just like all those foreign wankers that get elected as MP,s?
Young males without a father or father figure at home tend to get involved in more trouble and criminal behaviour.
Blacks tend to have more father-less families.
Solve that problem with Blacks and maybe the rate of young male Blacks involved in crime will plummet.
