For the first time in the storied annals of Woke Watch Canada history I regret my choice of lead image. Every time I look at my damn website that deranged lunatic is leering and smirking back. I apologize to readers who may also be experiencing this most unnerving visually-induced chill. Just awful.

Bill c-9 has a huge exposure not discussed by our media who only focus on the speech component. The bill was introduced by Mark Miller who stated Acts, Deuteronomy, Leviticus and Romans are Hate Speech.

If that wasn't enough..

Clause 2.2 enables the cross or Bible to be chosen as the hate symbol.

Then no speech is necessary. The clause operates to outlaw Christianity.

The entire group is banned. The offense is membership in the group.

Concern: Undefined scope of forfeiture power in Bill C9

Please write Mps

Proposed subsection 319(4) authorizes forfeiture of “anything by means of or in relation to which the offence was committed” without defining the outer boundary of “anything,” or restricting interpretations of " the means by which," or " means in relation to."

While forfeiture provisions are traditionally limited to property, the absence of an explicit statutory limitation risks over-breadth and uncertainty.

In particular, the clause does not distinguish between:

· items integral to the commission of the offence, and

· items that are merely incidental, expressive, or part of a person’s general means of participation in public life.

- whether "the means by which", or "the means in relation to" could include the person.

Assuming any government knows it's place and prefers generous interpretations in accordance with charter rights, knows neither history, nor the lived experience of individuals.

This creates the potential for a veiled capital punishment. Imagine the silence.

It further allows for disproportionate forfeiture of lawful expressive tools, devices, or platforms, engaging sections 2(b), 7, and 12 of the Charter. Parliament should not rely solely on post-hoc judicial restraint to cabin a power that directly affects property, expression, and proportionality at sentencing.

Clear statutory limits would preserve prosecutorial effectiveness while ensuring that forfeiture remains targeted, predictable, and constitutionally sound.

Recommended amendment

Add the following limiting language (bolded):

“anything that constitutes property, other than a person, and that was directly and primarily used as an instrument in the commission of the offence, by means of or in relation to which the offence was committed and only where the court is satisfied that forfeiture of the property is proportionate to the gravity of the offence and does not unduly impair lawful expressive activity.

This bill should be scrapped in it's entirety. However if the Liberals cannot limit the forfeiture clause, we have flushed them out as to the genuine purpose of this bill.

The one two punch of 2.2 and 4 are the dangers not expressed. This is what I see plain as can be.

What MOST Canadians fail to understand is BILL C9 is one step closer to making Canada a communist country. CENSORSHIP is how communism starts! Doesn't anyone research history?

Danny Harland's avatar

Or Fascist, wouldn't you say ?

Alexander Simonelis's avatar

Agree. Bill C-9 is utterly dangerous. The Liberals want to be commissars!

A good overview and general accounting of the current state of affairs in Canada.

Agreed.

Canada is not well. It is still not clear to me if the rest of the country is aware of its illness let alone tending to its recovery.🧐

Alexander Simonelis's avatar

What a depressing, but accurate, litany of vileness! Canada has clearly lost its way. Can we get it back, or is the 51st state the only option? I love Canada but if the choice is a deeply corrupt Canada and the 51st state, the choice for me is clear.

Almost as shocking as the awful murder of children in Tumbler Ridge were the references to the male mass murderer as a woman.

“In the immediate aftermath, the traumatized families of the dead and injured, and the entire Canadian population, had to endure both law enforcement and elites of various stripes referring to the deranged man who ruthlessly killed innocent children en masse, as “her,” “she,” and a “woman.” One would think that mass killing children might be enough to cancel out a killer’s privilege to manipulate and force others into his sick and psychologically destabilizing leftist gender charade.”

Christine A's avatar

As soon as the media described the suspect as a woman in a dress, I knew the person was transgender as you don’t describe someone like that I.e. a man in pants. Then the media continued honoring the murderer’s pronouns during their reporting. Very sick !

Thank you, Mr. Pew for this very informative article.

Not only is Canada unwell, but also well on her way to perdition. Bill C9 has given notice by the government that officially they hate God and all His precepts - given for our own wellbeing.

We are already experiencing God’s judgement for all the abominations that have been legalised and accepted by the people.

God will not be mocked and allow us to have what we want and the unavoidable consequences that go with it - unless we take heed to 2 Chronicles 7:14.

The lead image certainly captures the Canadian illness, albiet hard to see over and over. That the man is seriously deranged is so very clear.

You have captured the Issues of we the beleaguered, and it's not easy to set it all down in one article.

The $750,000 fine dropped on the head of a man who is simply telling the scientific truths of sex might spin out in favour of Neufield, as somewhere along the way the fact of sex over the word gender might occur. Gender, appropriated by the academic Judith Butler in her book Gender Trouble, was clear that 'gender' means appearance, costume, act: today this, tomorrow that. I could go on and on but really gender is a cloud and the sexed body is the reality we all walk around in, like or not. The B.C. Human Rights Commission has gone too far. Hope court shows the nonsense. Not holding my breath.

Canada is on the brink. Eby and Carnage are pushing the UN Agenda2030 so hard we won’t recognize this country if this keeps going. The UN Sustainability Goals are ridiculous. UNDRIP should never have been recognized in Canada it must be repealed BEFORE the Cowichan and Musqueam land grabs can gain any ground. Where the hell are Canada’s LEGAL community??? Bill C-9 is an abomination that should not see the light of day. As are all the line-up of censorship Bills currently in the cue. I am praying the UN and all its Agencies go broke and disband. Ditto Carney’s WEF. These un-elected psychopaths from third world countries need to go.

I was rather amused about Carney's Davos speech. The 'rules based international order' was out he told us and a transactional one substituted. Well, clutch my pearls. Here's Ottawa - like most western democracies with their own versions of our cherished parliamentarians - insisting everyone follow their rules allowing so many to have different or no rules because these are the rules, you see. We'll call it 'diversity is our strength'. But to lose respect for rules? The sky is falling. Be scared and vote Liberal from the Liberals, be scared and vote Tory for the Conservative. Be scared and vote NDP from the NDP, and so on. Honest brokers, one and all, I'm sure. They are what a 'rules based order' produce. Now we know that it's unequal to have equal rights. Property is just another land claim. Free speech isn't free. The police must protect identities over people. And redaction is now official policy in place of information. China is our new best friend publicly (privately, it's been so for decades) and the US is just a mean ol' bully filled with Very Bad People. If only we had more respect for the rules that is putting all this 'progress' at risk, Canadians might just be saved from themselves, from returning to the racist, colonizing blasphemers they once not that long ago were and built what constitutes a liberal democracy. Imagine if Canadians stopped respecting these partisan, divisive, disruptive, dysfunctional rules? End of days... for those institutions and representatives who think we need more 'progress'. The danger of following such rules and empowering such a massive blowback that is going on today, of course, is exchanging 'rules based order' with a strongman. An authoritative populist. Maybe even an Ayatollah in some other religious garb. Welcome to the transactional world but what have you done for me lately?

Where are the nations of history that mocked God and created their own? God is patient but Canadians need to repent and pray for His mercy on their nation. Things may get a lot worse before they get better; fasten your seat belt. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance." Psalm 33:12

Grace Joubarne's avatar

All these 'clownish' events are orchestrated by imposters. It is an historical fact that there never was a CANADA the nation, never a Confederation, a Charter, a Dominion and ALL those sitting as MPs, MPPs and municipal councillors are 100% imposters. This was written into Hansard and never challenged.

Until people 'get it' that we are ruled by mafia corporations masquerading as government at all levels, we will continue to believe that the 'legislation' is binding on the human beings of this landmass, when nothing can be further from the truth.

As long as we direct our energy to fighting one fictitious 'legislation' or another, we are entirely missing the point that they have no authority to write anything, let alone sit in the legislatures as though they have a 'right'. They have imposed a million regulations and requirements on us, and got away with it because we believe their system is 'real'.

We need to focus on escorting all MPs, MPPs and councilors and mayors from their offices, installing protection of all records in those offices, installing a provisional government, putting a Constitution before the People of each former province (now sovereign nation-states since 1931), then running the first election according to the Constitution.

So you are reading this and thinking I have a 'tenuous grasp on reality'...well, think again because it's all in the records. Those who actually think that the clownish nonsense is reality is living an illusion.

WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE THIS WAY...the legal and lawful authority to take our landmass back from criminal corporations masquerading as 'government', the most recent being the United Nations, has been ours for over a century, reconfirmed in 1931. Quebec has never stopped reminding us that they are a sovereign nation-state...why don't we catch on that every former province is a sovereign nation-state?

Don't believe me...start by researching the definition of CANADA -- in the Interpretations Act of Canada. It says nothing about land, inhabitants, men, women or human beings, yet you all get your shorts in a knot believing the theatre that corporations with only commerical/Maritime authority over waterways can possibly tell us humans what to do.

IF tomorrow we swore to never mention the names or actions of any politicians, bureaucrat, lawyer, UN shill, etc and swear to discuss only our lawful and legal right to our republics and how to move forward with what is ours, I believe that within 2 years, we will be totally free, have proper commonlaw courts, and courts of equity, military tribunals for all the traitors, including the Aboriginal Chiefs and band councils and we can finally live the way we should.

I am generally a small-c conservative and occasionally vote against the Conservatives but not often.

I am open to reasonable social change. I realize that “something” has to be done to sort out the indigenous issues in a meaningful way.

However if only half or less of what I just read above is true, then Canada does have a problem — more then one.

Strangely the one that got me the most was the Grewal killing which I had not heard about (and I would normally be informed as I try hard to be). That is yet another indication something is wrong. Govts are trying to hide issues that in some case they have created or have enhanced.

However, I am not at all a conspiracy guy and I really hope I am wrong — that most of what is written above is incorrect or exaggerated.

Something tells me that is not the case…

yup that about sums it up, sadly and Carney actively courting MPs of other political to defect to the Liberal party is putting our country in danger of being ruled even more clownishly by a majority corrupt federal government!!
