Like understanding Hitler and his views on the world, those that read his book "Mein Kampf " which he wrote in 1925, would have understood exactly what he would do if he gained power which he did in 1933. Read Carney's book "Values" and you will have the whole picture of Mark Carney's political ideology. His dirigisme policy dogma, which is now in place by law in Canada, and his almost Marxist views on economic matters. His belief that has been shown over his career that he is a truly Teflon man, and nothing negative seems to stick to his reputation. And as for the band of sycophants that have always surrounded him they are growing in number as they believe Carney is their meal ticket to Liberal Governments in the foreseeable future. Canadians voted for this man. The electorate will have to grin and bear it as taxes rise, government boondoggles increase and there will be no building of new oil pipelines and Canadas wealth in their resource based economy will stay in the ground. A country gets the Government is deserves, and Canadians have elected so deserve all the negatives that this man will do to our country. 😦
Nickerus, you are WRONG. Jean Chretien was interviewed by the CBC (I think) on his birthday. His comment regarding the Liberal Party was that it needed to move to the right.
Bottom line, calling a spade a spade, the currently named Liberal Party is more closely aligned to Fascist values then Liberal ones. The problem that is apparent is how to de-indoctrinate the left that actually fails to see this and fails to understand this.

Carney did not fail in his negotiations with the US. He won the last election with anti-trump/us spin and he intends to win the next one the same. The last thing he wants is a trade deal and the worse it gets the better he likes it

There are some simple minded commentators around who have fallen into the woke trap of distracting from the real issues by stirring up some false generational divide. Carney has a very Kamala-esque quality about him when he speaks. He looks like a deer in the headlights as he rambles on, attempting to make his word salad sound intelligent, with every nod of the head as if to remind himself ”Yes, this is good. I’m confident, capable, and people like me.” I can’t help but see him as a sniveling little weasel, the loser kid in school that was bullied and who laughed along, not realizing the other kids were laughing at him, not with him.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

“Carney has said that Muslim values are Canadian values.” I thought politicians were supposed to be somewhat educated and honest?
But I digress, as I’m busy adding up my $ to make sure I can pay the rent and buy some non-fake foods, like milk cheese and eggs for my family.
