The unacceptable secrets of Canadian school boards
Schools that deliberately withhold sensitive information from parents concerning gender identity
By Elton Robinson
In my last piece, I laid out the background explaining why I co-founded Parents for Parents Rights (PFPR), and about the Greater Essex County District School Board (GECDSB) policy: Gender Identity and Expression (GID) (see attached below).
Please check your local boards policy's on Gender Identity and Expression. I have yet to find one that includes parent involvement, although Windsor Essex Catholic School Board has a similar policy (see below) - it includes parents, but with age guidelines.
PFPR has started a petition. We are asking Woke Watch Canada readers to sign it (see attached below):
Email - elton.robinson1984@gmail.com for details, including the mailing address, concerning the Gender Policy Petition.
Below is a video regarding the Gender Policy Petition from a recent episode of Cristina Bairos Fernandez’s great podcast. It was my pleasure to being invited by Cristina to speak about the GECDSB.
Ultimately we would like to get original copies returned to us in pen ink. We are in the process as well of finding a way to do an online petition. However, the written version we feel is better as it allows open conversations with people over additional issues which concern our publicly funded school system.
Below is an in-depth segment covering my concerns with the current GID Policy at the GECDSB:
This journey began for me, like I said in my last article, at a school council meeting Monday September 19, 2022. The events of that evening led me to co-found PFPR. The following two video clips are from the September 26th, 2022, where the Gender Identity Policy was discussed:
I asked the trustees running in my Ward about the Gender Identity Policy. After my question, another member of PFPR asked all the candidates the same question:
The day after the September 26th meeting I reviewed the video footage, I was shocked by a couple of things, one being that the current elected Trustees all agreed with the practice of keeping secrets from parents. The second thing was that most of the candidates running were unaware of the policy.
PFPR was on the run supporting candidates in last October’s trustee elections who agreed that the GID policy needed to be amended to add parents to the equation. Unfortunately we started too late in the campaign, and on October 24th 2022 only two trustees were elected who were on our side concerning the GID question. We will be ready for 2026. If readers know of anyone that has an interest in running for Trustee for 2026 please reach out to PFPR so we may start the process of preparing for 2026.
See this video to watch my request for an accommodation at the Greater Essex County District School Board at a November 2022 meeting:
At the meeting, Trustee Alan Halberstadt made a motion for an amendment to the GID policy (more on this at end of this article):
Well unfortunately the GID policy still exists to this day, and it excludes parents.
Below is the full 29 minute podcast hosted by my new Twitter friend Cristina Bairos Fernandez, mentioned above:
I have made clips of the full podcast to help share and spread the message of the GID policy concerns Cristina and I came up with during the podcast.
How did this GID policy come about? See my explanation:
I included the clip below of a board meeting of the Waterloo District School Board (WRDSB) becuase I’d like to point out something that appalls me: Trustees who think they know everything and, even if you are “marginalized,” if you also have the “wrong” viewpoint they will exclude it and accuse you of “homophobia” or “transphobia.” Below a WRDSB trustee tells my friend Julia Mallot, who is transgender, that she is a minority in her own community. Wow! I was shocked by this:
Returning to the podcast. Below, I bring up the question of why this policy is supported. Cristina and I speak on Teachers who have been charged with transgressions against children:
The most important thing we came up with is, instead of secrets, why is there no bridge built to the parents:
The results from our Budget survey at GECDSB that showed the top two issues with our board are mental health of both students and teachers brought Cristina and I to question whether Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the schools may be the cause:
The last clip I have of the podcast with Cristina is when she knocked it out of the park, she brought up this idea that I never thought - yes, of course the virtue signaler teachers:
Cristina and I will be doing another podcast soon to review the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) GID policy. See these two short clips where Cristina mentions their policy:
The WRDSB GID policy is 21 pages. Wow!
I would like to thank
of Woke Watch Canada for his help in providing a platform for myself and other concerned parents to reach across Ontario and meet a lot of key figures in the push back against woke school boards. As well as Catherine Kronas founder of Lighthouse which is a private group of individuals working in the background for a unified push back concerning the Canadian school system.I’m hoping concerned citizens of Ontario will take a moment and sign our petition. Encouraging additional signatures from neighbors and family, would be an awesome bonus to the cause, and something I very much encourage and request of Woke Watch Canada readers. No one should ever be able to teach another persons’ child to keep secrets from their parents period.

Elton Robinson writes: "I was shocked by a couple of things, one being that the current elected Trustees all agreed with the practice of keeping secrets from parents." I followed two "story time with drag queens" events at Surrey schools and no parent I talked to in the parking lot had a clue about the events. Parents are being hoodwinked because school officials know what they themselves are doing is wrong. There needs to be a parent revolt. I'm doing my part as a grandparent!
Who gave these schoolboards authority to interfere in families and divide children and parents? Why isn't this being raised in the provincial legislature?
