I don’t think Carney has Trump Derangement Syndrome, the citizens who vote for him do. Carney knows this, he counted on it to win the election. Elbows up was about preparing Canadians for a breakdown in relations with the U.S. — A breakdown that Carney and the other Laurentian elites who run things in Canada saw as inevitable. To anyone paying close enough attention, Carney is the de facto new leader of the globalists (the WEF mob). He ascended to that position at the moment he became the Canadian prime minister. Trump and the MAGA movement, on the other hand, are the singular force in the world effectively opposing globalism as it has emerged in the post-WWII “rules based order.”
This effectively places Canada at the center of an existential global struggle. However, we are not only at the center, but oppositionally set against the most powerful nation the world has ever seen, locked in a “trade war” with the largest economy in the history of humanity. Pardon my use of acronymic French as I blurt out an unruly “WTF!”
I am sure Carney has read The Art Of The Deal and knows how to win diplomatically with Trump — which is all one needs to read to gain the key insights prerequisite to mutually successful negotiations with the orange one. But Carney is not interested in mutually beneficial trade relations with the U.S. because that would mean tacit support for the American led reset of global political economy (which of course follows from America’s new economic policy, because yes absolutely America is that powerful), or put another way, it would mean Carney supporting the thing which is opposing the thing that he actually supports.
Elbows up Canadians have been manipulated by the most cynical government in the history of Canada. Carney is a smooth operator but a cunning wirepuller. He has essentially pulled the wool over the eyes of a malinformed citizenry who have been fed an endless diet of state-sponsored anti-American, Anti-Trump, and Anti-Poilievre propaganda since at least the final scenes of the Trudeau premiership set the stage for Carney the globalist show closer.
Carney walked away from trade negotiations with the Americans. He claimed the deal was a bad one for Canada. If that were true, if he had the evidence for a bad deal in his hands delineated in diplomatic documents, then Carney would of course have made it all public by now. But he has made nothing public because the deal, although without seeing it I cannot know for sure, at best was one which needed further negotiation and tweaking. It was not something that should have caused a complete rupture in the relationship with the most important country we have a relationship with.
Afterwards, Carney was immediately perched in front of reporters where he stoked the flames of Trump Derangement Syndrome by characterizing the trade dispute as a “war,” because the Americans “attacked” us. Pardon my French a second time (although sans the acronym), the biggest ass in the history of Canadian politics, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, told his tax-payer funded camera crew that President Trump should “kiss his ass.” Ugh…there is no acronym, with French terminology or otherwise, which can come close to expressing the bottomless pit of anxiety and frustration this man bodily infects my entire constitution with.
American diplomats Howard Lutnick and Jamieson Greer both gave interviews to American media where they made it crystal clear that, while the Canadian polity might be riddled with TDS and unable to sense-make around any issue which directly or indirectly intersects with Trump, they are under no such illusions or derangements. The Americans know exactly what is going on, they know that the Carney Liberals are playing politics, and although they haven’t said as much overtly, I am quite sure they know that Carney is king globalist first, and Canadian prime minister second.
Yesterday the Western Standard reported that CBC tells journalists not to refer to 9/11 as ‘terrorist attack’. Now, let’s put this outrage aside for a second so I can digress a little into something relevant. I am being repeatedly accused of being unpatriotic, or of being some sort of a traitor, or sometimes even a bootlicker to Trump. This of course is in addition to the usual descriptors my writing invites, like racist, fascist, transphobe and the like. Which is fine, all is fair in love and war. However, allow me to use the remainder of this digression to correct the record on the traitor bit. Here goes: although they may not always be aware of it, those with TDS who can no longer think straight and who voted a globalist tyrant into the top office of the nation, are in fact the ones whose action most closely align with sedition. I have decided to direct my patriotism in an entirely different way. I do not feel Canada has the wherewithal to save itself from itself. Kind of like woke universities, they can’t save themselves either. They need a powerful influence from the outside, like the government, to force reform. I trust the Americans, and I admire their counter-revolutionary and heroic efforts to re-install Hamiltonian principles into the way they manage their political economy. I think we need Trump and America to influence us (read gently force us) to shed the globalist parasite class, and to get with a developmentalist mindset that is serious about prosperity, and aligns well with America’s new economic policy.
As the American diplomats previously mentioned put it, there is no trade war here, that is ridiculous talk meant to rile up Carney’s supporters. What is actually occurring is simply that the Trump administration has made some big changes to their economic policy. Changes that require new negotiations with America’s trading partners. Most of these negotiations have already successfully concluded. The Americans have twenty-one new trade arrangements with serious prosperity-seeking nations. They gave Canada the benefit of the doubt and assumed we were also a serious nation grown up enough to understand that they have legitimate reasons for the shift in economic policy, and that they have not treated other countries unfairly. We perhaps would not have had it all our way, but I am highly skeptical that the deal Carney walked away from would have been unfair to Canada (I will reserve my opinion until I see the details).
Returning to CBC and their gross appeasement of Canada’s Muslim community which apparently, in order for them to continue voting Liberal, require that Canadians not refer to the worst terrorist attack that ever visited North American soil as a “terrorist attack.” This little tidbit of utter nonsense actually made me lose my appetite, as a greenish feeling of nausea oscillated around the lower stomach and bowel region of my person. Even cooking smells were temporarily intolerable. Sustenance had to be reintroduced slowly by way of unsweetened tea and stale bread. However, and what a grand “however” readers are about to entangle themselves in, the Americans are watching! They are watching us perhaps closer than they have ever watched before. Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) reacted to CBC’s stupidity in a post on X, writing, “Maybe we shouldn’t call Canada a ‘friendly country.’”
Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI) posted, “Wow, The Canadian Broadcast Center told staff NOT to call 9/11 a terrorist attack. 9/11 is one of the darkest days in our history — nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered by terrorists. Say the word terrorism.”
And FBI Director Cash Patal wrote on X:
“Any agency in Canada that doesn’t publicly reject this bastardisation of history, and an insult to the souls lost during our largest terrorist attack in US history will no longer have friend in this FBI.”
At least one Canadian conservative member of Parliament understood the seriousness of CBC’s insult. Rachael Thomas, slammed the outlet’s memo and argued it was attempting to rewrite American history:
“Refusing to call it an act of terrorism dishonours the victims, their families, the survivors, and the first responders who witnessed the horrors of that day. Trying to sanitize or rewrite that history is deeply offensive and does a disservice to everyone who was affected by the attacks.”
And at last we come unceremoniously to the supreme troller who has cast his line in the newly anointed Lake America. He is fishing for a major catch of Canadian TDS, and he is bound to fill his nets. Indeed, Trump has signed an executive order officially changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America. Canadians are of course triggered and are whining insufferably. I think it is funny, and I like that for once an Indian name is being changed to a European one. Trump is the greatest troller in the history of trolling. However, the move is a serious one, in twenty years the world will be flooded with maps and globes that label the former Lake Ontario as Lake America, in spite of the impotent protestations of butt hurt Canadians. America has vastly more power in this world, if they want our lake known as Lake America it will be so. Canadian’s who have a hard time accepting this simply have no clue about the dynamics of power.
Carney’s response to Trump’s redesignation of the lake was replete with a self-own only one as invested in a globalist “new world order,” and oblivious to actual domestic concerns could muster. He posted the following to X:
The name Lake Ontario comes from the Wendat word Ontari’io, which, appropriately, means “the lake is beautiful, the lake is big”.
The name is more than 400 years old, predating both the Confederation of Canada and the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America.
We know that America is changing. Their trading relationships, their foreign policies, their national monuments, their hydronyms.
Canadians also know that naming reality means calling it Lake Ontario – then, now and always.
A hilarious response to this which appeared on X was posted by Miranda Veracruz de la Jolla Cardinal, which I am assuming is a parody account since Miranda was a recurring character in the 1980s sitcom Married With Children. MVdlJC wrote:
“How dare Trump rename Lake Ontario!”
“Anyways, here I am at Sankofa Square...”
If that is not the cat’s pajamas then I have no idea what type of response to Carney’s boundless smugness would adequately compliment a feline’s slumber. Carney says that Canadians know about “naming reality,” yet consider how many unpronounceable aboriginal terms have been grafted over the real names of Canadian places in the past decade or so.
It’s not just Dundas/Sankofa Square which has played the virtue signalling rename game. The former Woodsy Park in North York Toronto is now called Ethennonnhawahstihnen’ Park. What we used to call Lower Coxwell Avenue now goes by Emdaabiimok Avenue. In Vancouver, the formerly known Trutch Street is now called šxʷməθkʷəy̓əmasəm Street. In Alberta a portion of 23rd Avenue was redesignated to Maskêkosihk Trail. And John A. Macdonald Boulevard in Saskatoon was changed to miyo-wâhkôhtowin Road — of course it was. These are but the icing on the cake. In Canada, there are layers upon layers of these preposterous name changes.
Returning to Carney, and his insistence that Canadians know about “naming reality.” Has anyone asked Mr. Carney what the name for an adult human female is? I don’t know if I’d advise it, he’d probably just tell you to “look inside yourself.”

Since he appeared on the scene Carney has given no indication he is really motivated by serving Canada and Canadians rather, he has consistently been using us a props for advancing his personal ideological agenda. He demonstrates a major and dangerous character flaw with his lack of transparency pay, frequent lying and regular manipulation of words to mislead.
