Tyranny of the Visible Minorities

A white majority does not a supremacy make

New polling research conducted by the Association for Canadian Studies (ACS) has been published under the heading “Beyond Binaries: In Diverse Societies Prejudices are more complex than simply us and them.” The ACS website tells us that the research report was authored by President and CEO Jack Jedwab. Apparently, Jedwab is not interested in the perception of Canada’s host population, the white majority, but only that of visible minorities. In Canada, we are supposedly all about diversity and multiculturalism and don’t care what colour people happen to be. Or so we have long been told.

However, Canada does not have multiculturalism or diversity or any such thing. What we actually have is asymmetrical multiculturalism. This means we welcome, celebrate, and keep statistics about the exalted “visible minorities,” but offer none of this to white people (who Jedwab, in his ACS research report, can’t even bring himself to say. Instead, he refers to whites as “non-visible minorities”).

We celebrate black history month in Canada, even though we have a paucity of actual black history. We do not celebrate European history month, even though the nation was settled, founded, and developed by Europeans, in part, through the transplanting of liberalism from the Old World (where it was created by white people) to the New World (where it was meant to be enjoyed by white people). At every social justice corner, white people and their cultural heritage are airbrushed out of the story their ancestors first set down.

The ACS survey does not bother to measure negative feelings held by “visible minorities” (non-white) towards “non-visible minorities” (the white majority). Apparently Anti-white racism is not a thing. Although this is nothing new. In my research, I discovered years ago that according to the social justice left, racism is not something that white people can experience. Racism is about power dynamics. White people hold all the power. And further, white people have racism encoded in their DNA – whites are inherently racist, so say the left ones.

But this particular survey report is not even measuring racism, it is measuring “negative views.” Does Jedwab and his ACS cronies believe that, like racism, negative views directed at whites are also something that white people cannot experience? Or, more likely, they simply do not care about white people or white interests. Everything to do with white people, their history, and their cultural heritage is viewed as obstacles which leftist social justice warriors must struggle to overcome.

It is all hogwash. The social justice left is the thing we must struggle to overcome. They are not combatting discrimination or racism. On the contrary, they are generating anti-white discrimination and racism (yes, indeed, you can be a foul racist against whites). They are filling the heads of minorities with all sorts of ahistorical anti-white nonsense. They are creating a tyranny of the visible minorities. White majorities are constantly not represented – not only in research surveys and social justice studies, but also in anti-racism laws, and by the history that is rarely chosen to be commemorated (even though the history of visible minorities is constantly celebrated).

One interesting tidbit that the ACS survey reveals is that negative feelings toward various visible minority groups are harboured least among whites, and mostly among other visible minorities. Not a shocker. Again, for years, my research has shown me that whites are the recipients of discrimination, not the advancers of it. Further, non-whites are far more racist and discriminatory towards any non-member of their people group (not just whites). The survey only asks about Jews, Indigenous, Blacks, Arabs, Chinese. It is odd that it does not include Indians, since such a large segment of the Indian diaspora resides in Canada. South Asians were surveyed about their negative feelings towards others, but no one asked anyone how they felt about South Asians. But what is the most negligent and inadequate is of course, the exclusion of the white majority. Why go through all of the trouble of setting up a survey like this, only to employ such half-measures?

Why are negative feelings directed at whites by non-whites so uninteresting? Is all of the murder, rape and violent crime suffered by whites by the hands of non-whites not enough of an indicator that animus directed at whites may be a problem? Do they think white people deserve it? Do they think that cherry-picked white perpetrated historical injustices are a good enough rationale to generally treat white people as sub-human?

On April 2, in Frisco Texas, Austin Metcalf, a 17-year old athlete was murdered by Karmelo Anthony. Metcalf was white, Anthony is black. The murder took place at a high-school track meet. Anthony decided to bring a knife in his backpack (who brings a knife to a track meet?). Words were exchanged between them. Anthony took out his knife, and before Metcalf even realized Anthony had a weapon, he was stabbed in the heart. He died in the arms of his twin brother moments later. Anthony immediately fled the scene, and threw the murder weapon away. When he was picked up by police a short time later, he admitted that he stabbed Metcalf and then asked if it was self-defense.

This is an awful and tragic story. But it has been made so much more awful by the politicization of it. If all people were equal, and skin colour was just skin deep, then you would expect white people to react to the cold-blooded murder of one of their own, in a way that would be similar if the races were reversed. But everyone knows, including many sensible non-racist members of the black community, that this is never the case. If the reaction to this tragedy by the white majority was anything like we all know it would be if the races were reversed, then white people would be burning down city blocks as they demand racial justice. Further, if the races were reversed, the white perpetrator would not be seen as the victim by anyone. In contradistinction, the black community has raised over three hundred thousand dollars on GiveSendGo for Karmelo Anthony.

We are not the same. White people do not come to the defence of cold-blooded white murderers who kill black people. There are no white O.J. Simpsons. If anything, white people are more apt to join the wave of outrage that occurs when a white perpetrator kills a black victim. White people do not riot, destroy property or seek revenge out of outrage over the disproportionate black perpetrators who kill white victims. Blacks are so lucky this is the case. There are many documented instances of racist blacks hunting down and committing violence or killing white people (becuase they are white), and exceedingly few with the opposite racial configuration. The media ignores white victimhood at the hands of racist non-white perpetrators, and exaggerates and mischaracterizes the circumstances involving non-white victims. Who in their right mind would think that Karmelo Anthony was acting in self-defence? Non-whites who hate whites, that’s who!

Maybe it is because white people are not taught to hate visible minorities or to view them as flawed. While visible minorities are taught that they must struggle against white supremacy. Or maybe because it is the non-white people who are inherently racist, or at least desperately resentful of whites. The reasons don’t matter. What matters is the lack of recognition of the problem. It is so obvious who the racists are, and who is responsible for stoking racism (the social justice left), which makes it boundlessly frustrating that the white majority refuses to contend with the injustice of it. White people are more concerned with not being called racist, than they are with protecting innocent 17-year old high-schoolers with bright futures.

The FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports (UCR) and the Bureau of Justice Statistics’ National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) publish yearly statistics that show the insane disparity between the amount of violent crime committed by blacks against whites in America, versus the other way around. According to UCR’s 2019 homicide data, black Americans killed 566 whites. In that same year, White Americans killed 246 blacks. Adjusted for population (Black population is 13%, White population is 60% of U.S.), blacks are 9 to 10 times more likely to murder whites.

The NCVS criminal victimization summary of 2019 also tells us that “the portion of violent incidents involving black offenders (25%) was 2.3 times the portion involving black victims (11%), while the portion involving white offenders (50%) was 0.8 times the portion involving white victims (62%)...” From the years 2020 to 2023 the annual NCVS and UCR surveys do not reflect any significant changes to this.

When will we stop teaching non-whites to resent white people? When will stop spreading blood-libels concerning a genocide that never happened, that has falsely been attributed to the white majority? When will we stop referring to the white majority as a white supremacy? When will we start treating white people as full human beings who deserve to celebrate their cultural heritage? Until we do, expect more anti-white racism, and more violence and murder of whites at the hands of non-whites.
