When hate crimes break from the "white supremacy" narrative

Like when black supremacists kill non-blacks and progressives refuse to call it hate

There has been an alarming increase in violent hate crimes in Canada and the media has not accurately represented the details, scale and seriousness of the situation.

Violence and hate are on the rise in the West because the elite intelligentsia are interested first and foremost in the maintenance of narrative. When it comes to issues of public safety, they will craft their approach in a way that does not contradict social justice narratives, even if it means contradicting the conventions of public safety.

Why for instance are so many of the violent crimes perpetrated by BIPoC people not classified as hate crimes? Why does proposed Bill C16 deny through omission the existence of anti-Caucasian racism? And why, as journalist Joe Warrmington noted regarding violent crime, is the following a thing?

“One of the concerning trends in 2023 is police are often not releasing the names of victims. This is problematic because the public can’t become as outraged at how dangerous the streets have become if they have no name or picture.”

The short answer to these questions and others is that wokeism, or social justice activism, is being imposed on society and this is simply the result.

Considering the current trajectory, it should be expected that all of this hate, violence, and general woke clown world madness is only going to get increasingly extreme as time goes by. The faster every sane Canadian joins the “counter-woke resistance” the better. 

The shocking nature of, and the equally shocking overall increase of, violent hate crimes (even though many are not classified as hate crimes) is something that should stir outraged Canadians to action. But systemic woke-speak and its inherent down-playing of the nature and severity of the situation, on behalf of the radical intelligentsia, has essentially kept Canadians in a sort of semi-obscured partial darkness. 

Allow me to explain with examples.

On April 12, 2022 Richard Jonathan Edwin, a 39 year old black man, was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Kartik Vasudev and Elijah Eleazar Mahepath. Det. Sgt. Terry Browne said that both victims were people of colour, but would not speculate on whether they were targeted based on their background or ethnicity. Police Chief Ramer called the two murders “absolutely random acts of violence.” 

Random acts of violence eh? Hmmmm.

“Random acts” of violence seem to be increasing across the country, but Toronto, the world’s most multicultural major city has seen an alarming escalation. Extremely concerning is the lack of security across the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) - the city’s public transit system. To get a sense of the recent rise in violence, the following is from a December 22, 2022 Toronto Star report regarding the killing on the TTC of 31 year old Vanessa Kurpiewska (a white woman), by a deranged stranger, Neng Jia Jin a 52 year old Asian man:

“In 2022 alone, another woman was killed after being set on fire on a bus at Kipling station; a university student was shot and killed outside of Sherbourne station; a man was stabbed in the neck on the platform at St. George station; a TTC employee was assaulted by a group of people at Sheppard station; a woman was assaulted at Bayview station; a man was choked until he lost consciousness and was robbed on the platform at Pioneer Village station; a TTC employee was stabbed at Dupont station; and passengers were sprayed with an unknown substance at Greenwood and Finch stations.

Each was a random attack by someone who did not know their alleged victim, police say.” 

Calling them “random attacks,” instead of hate crimes, is deliberately misleading. What can a random attack be motivated by other than hate?

Nowhere in the above report is the stabbing of the two women (the other woman’s identity has not been publicized) referred to as a hate crime. When a deranged Asian man randomly murders a white lady on the TTC the intelligentsia insist it is a “random attack.” 

In January of 2023 the CBC called it a “random assault” when a 43 year old indigenous man named Robert Robin Cropearedwolf, pushed from behind a 73 year old white man, retired CBC producer Michael Finlay, in an unprovoked surprise attack. Tragically Michael Finlay died from his injuries in hospital a short while later.

That some cases are called hate crimes and others are called “random attacks,” has more to do with the identity politics fused into the social justice narratives of the intelligentsia and the state, than it does any set of criteria used to classify actual violent crimes.

One horrendous and heart-breaking recent case is without a doubt a hate crime committed by a black supremacist against an innocent white man, but the legacy media informed Canadians only that a man in Scarborough, Ontario had been “shot and killed.”

On Dec. 30 2022, thirty-four-year-old Gars-Ara Kourjakian (a white man) was shot and killed in an underground parkade in Scarborough. Family friends say he was taking off his five-year-old daughter's winter boots when a 37 year old black man, Devret Clarke shot him in the head.

The only Global News report concerning Devret Clarke is just over 100 words long, it doesn’t mention the race of either men involved, nor does it mention that Kourjakian was executed by Clarke in front of his 5 year old daughter.

Shockingly, no search results for “Devret Clarke” are returned from the websites of the Toronto Star, CBC News, the National Post, or the Globe and Mail.

 CTV News reports are the only ones of any substance I was able to find. One showed a photo of Kourjakian, and another a courtroom drawing of Clarke. There was no mention of the races of either men, but for those willing to cross-reference the two articles, the pictures made it clear that this was a cold blooded violent black-on-white hate crime. However, there is no mention by any investigators or reporters that the murder is being considered a hate crime.

A quick Google search of Devret Clarke revealed an online presence yet to be removed from the internet. Not only did I learn that Clarke calls himself “Book Author,” and has self-published over thirty books, but he openly blames white people for the problems of black people, while supporting the black supremacist hate group, the Black Hebrew Israelites (BHI).

Reading through Clarke’s tweets (which are still on Twitter), descriptions of his books (which you can still purchase from Amazon) and viewing his videos (which you can still watch on Youtube), it was clear that Clarke is an anti-Semitic and anti-white racist. But apparently that description cannot be used when describing a BIPoC person - if it breaks from the progressive “white supremacy” narrative, it is not permitted.

Devret Clarke is a black supremacist. It is evident in his words and in his support of the Black Hebrew Israelites, who are an anti-Semitic and anti-white racist hate group. When Clarke executed Gars-Ara Kourjakian in front of his 5 year old daughter, he committed a vile hate crime, but neither law enforcement nor legacy media called it that. In fact, most media didn’t report on this story at all.

The radical sects of the Black Hebrew Israelites are Afro centrist. Their central claim that black people are the real Israelites is consistent with other Afro centrist movements that seek to attribute to black people, things that did not involve them. BHI believes that modern Jews are imposters, that blacks are the true chosen people.

On December 19, 2019 two fanatical killers, with ties to the Black Hebrew Israelites, first killed a police officer and father of five, then shot up a Kosher Market in Jersey City, New Jersey, killing another three inside the market. The perpetrators were both black supremacists - 47-year-old David N. Anderson and 50-year-old Francine Graham. Even though Jersey City mayor correctly identified the shooting rampage as anti-Semitism and a targeted hate crime, many prominent figures from America’s leftist elites were not as clear in their denunciations. Some, like Senator Cory Booker, neglected to mention anything about the anti-Semitic targeting of Jews in his statement to constituents. This prompted Barbara Kay to ask in her Epoch Times column - “Was it because the perpetrators were black that Booker referred to the victims only as neighbourhood “residents” and their deaths as ‘tragedies?’”

A week after the Jersey City massacre, on December 28, 2019, in Monsey New York, Grafton E. Thomas, a 37 year old black man broke into the home of a Hasidic Rabbi and attacked guests with a machete. Five people were hospitalized with serious injuries, one later died. Although his lawyer claims he was not a member of any hate groups, investigators found Thomas’ handwritten journals which expressed anti-Semitic views and made reference to the Black Hebrew Israelites.

The same reluctance to come out strong and condemn targeted acts of hate committed by BIPoC people is not present when the perpetrators are white. For example Hate crime charges filed in Pittsburgh synagogue shooting that left 11 dead - Robert Bowers, a white perpetrator, clear case of hate. And, a Synagogue shooting leaves 1 dead, 3 wounded in Poway, near San Diego - John Earnest, another white perpetrator, again no confusion about this being a hate crime.

I think you get the drift. I’ve gone on too long so I’ll leave it at that for today. You can definitely expect to see more from me on these issues in the coming weeks.
