I am with Pierre Trudeau, which is that we have to be morally and politically very hard nosed with The Woke; that we are not going to forgive them until they have been through a process not dissimilar to denazification.
It isn't just that they have become far too much of an existential threat to be treated any other way. Woke is a plague in the profoundest sense, that turns ordinary people into monsters who need to be quarantined and decontaminated before they are allowed back into decent society......which of course is what they are trying to do to decent society right now.......as the Communists and Nazis before them did.
Defeating them politically (and if necessary militarily) is only half the battle. Relearning the basic civil decencies is for them the other half
