A CANADIAN GENOCIDE LIMERICK

"Snakes and nails and monstrous tales and things that can give you a fright.

Yes the genocide story is a little too gory and somehow just doesn’t sound right."

Michelle Stirling undresses every confected layer of genocide fiction in Canada and draws attention to authenticated Chinese government brutality. She is a rare truth-teller in a sea of charlatans.

What a slap in the face of China's farcical finger-pointing! You really sliced through their smoke and mirrors, spotlighting their sheer nerve. The hypocrisy of China, knee-deep in their own human rights horrors, throwing shade on Canada's history? Pure gall.

The past isn't perfect, but comparing Canada's historical issues with Xinjiang's ongoing nightmares? Let's not let guilt and rewritten history blur the lines.

Thanks for telling it like it is. Here's hoping the Indigenous folks and all Canadians, for that matter, knock China's false narrative on its backside and stand against the Uyghur genocide.

I made a disposition to the TRC about my year at Grouard Mission,Alta. My minder ,Daisy Elliot, Kincombe inlet, was in tears while I talked. I never had a chance to talk to her after speaking and years later I met her again. I asked her why she cried. She said she had never considered how life was for a teacher at a residential school. I had described how we had no heat in our teacherage till Nov. 10, Northern Alberta, my son was born Nov 16th, and the fact our water supply came from the local slough, Buffalo Bay, in a dug out used as a swimming hole by the local inhabitants!

As a family we got on well with the local inhabitants. I did not go before the large assembly to express myself because I was aware of the unreasoned sentiments of the local Cowichan tribes et. al. I presented in private with a small group of video recorders and officers. It was emotional reliving the manner in which we found ourselves. Into the bargain we were only paid one third of Canadian trained teachers. We were fresh over from the UK.

As teachers we were never told to suppress language or culture. I expressed this at local meetings in the Cowichan Valley and was subsequently relieved of my office as Town Crier for Duncan. The woke tribe live here in full force! I have not taken this as a fait a complit and continue my craft as Crier and have opened British heritage days and a Convention of the United Empire Loyalists. My British culture will not be suppressed

When working on my MA thesis about Cree snowshoes and the craft used in their construction I had nothing but cooperation from indigenous peoples. Result is a research paper defining the many methods and techniques used in Snow shoe construction from the point of view of a craftsman and racer.

Is that thesis available online, Ben? I know someone who would love to read it.

Not as far as I know. I wrote it at the University of Albert, Phys .Ed. Dept. 1978. They may have provision for online access. My interest started when I had SS,s made for me and I competed in the High Prairie, Alberta, Trapper King festival. I won the SS race and log sawing and packed 625 lbs. I was runner up. I have had an exciting life in Canada but look at the last few years with dismay.

Near as I can determine, the U of A library archives has only digitized 15 theses from 1978 (and yours is not among them). They do say, however, that "Past graduates who wish to have their thesis or dissertation added to this collection can contact us at erahelp@ualberta.ca." They'll have your hard copy in some archive, I expect.

Another excellent articles to help debunk this massive Canadian lie. My father worked at a residential school. They were not all bad.

China’s alleged genocide of the Uyghur genocide is just about as credible as Canada’s alleged genocide of the First Nation’s people. Most of these Uyghur genocide allegations come from agencies with close ties to the U.S. government which is waging an information war against China. It’s hilarious to see the US setting itself up as a defender of the Muslims people in China when it has been bombing and invading countries in the Middle East for the past 30 years.

It is with great disappointment that Michelle Sterling continues to repeat the US propaganda about the Chinese genocide. This has been disproven for some time. Why should believe her articles about the " Canadian" genocide of indigenous children when she obviously has not done her research on China. This is sloppy investigative journalism. I have just recently subscribed to your newsletter but shall have to unsubscribe if I come across further lies in the articles

The woke left tear at the developed democracies ONLY. Hence, the CCP are blameless to them.
