Why do you call it the Canadian Constitution? Isn't it the Charter of Rights and Freedoms of 1982?

"A bloodless revolution took place in Canada in 1982 when the Charter of Rights,

promoted by Liberal Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, became a part of our constitution.

Prior to the Charter, Canadian laws and democracy were based on Judeo-Christian

principles, anchored in the common good. These Judeo-Christian-based laws allowed

Canadian society to flourish and thrive. These laws, however, have been eliminated by

judges under the Charter so that Canada has become a secular humanist society."

My sister is a teacher. I love her, but I’ve never met a more dumb person. She gets by very well, because society allows her to be a bully and a woke know it all, regurgitating useless terms she been taught. Zero critical thinking. She’s the same, as the feminist oncology doctor who did absolutely nothing to save my mother from cancer. When I questioned them, to try alternative drugs like ivermectin, the feminist doctor was solely focused on showing what a strong woman she was, and talked down to me, and failed to do anything for my mom. Woke, feminism, left radicals, indoctrination do gooders, all clueless hypocrites. Rip to my beautiful mom.

My wife is a teacher. She is not dumb but was brought up to respect authority. If it hadn't been for me she would have taken the vax.

> Compare that to the Canadian Constitution, Article 15:

& then we haven't even mentioned Section 1, which neuters the entire document.

The Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedoms is full of exceptions upon exceptions; it doesn't worth the electrons it's printed with.

Great comments. Its true that one cant really discuss all this in the classroom, but its insane that teachers are muzzled in practice outside the classroom. We really need to get this corrected.

As a white guy who was told he was the wrong colour and sex to get work at CN in th 1980's. I'd say I'm the traditionally disadvantaged one.

Also non citizens should never be eligible for govt work.

I showed up to work the day after the election with my fellow teachers assuming we were all equally devasted about the "horrible" US election results. This was discussed in group meetings, in our offices, everywhere in the school. Teachers all assume we are one homogenous body of voters, the teachers around me acted like they were in a state of shock, they acted so self-righteous, that they were on right side of history. There was not one moment of reflection, not one moment to think that maybe not everyone in this room would vote the same way. Because in their mind that would mean they are a horrible bigot misogynist (or any other term they come up with). I'm not saying I would have voted for Trump but, to be so sure that everyone around you thinks and feels the same way as you and that you are smarter that the other 80 million people who voted for Trump is so incredibly infuriating. And in my opinion, it is this attitude that gets people like Trump voted into office and the left continue to be blinded to this. It is incredibly frustrated that as a group of well-educated (supposedly) adults we can't have truthful and honest conversations with her colleagues.

I cannot wait for the Canadian election but, I truly worry Canadians will vote for the status quo, being around Canadian teachers everyday it isn't hard to imagine.

Absolutely nothing will change under our dictator for life Trudeau and his bobblehead crew until we boot his ass out as well as all his hangers on and grifters in the next election, WHENEVER that is?

I expect however that the next law coming down the pipe will be one that crowns the Turd and gives him power over us for life.
