The age of social justice has made schools into brainwashing centres for self promoters or nihilists or historical revisionists. Sustainability is a worthwhile goal but if one reads between the lines it is a front for woke indoctrination, with resentment and reverse racism and endless censorship.
I couldn't agree with you more. I taught high school in Ontario for 28 years and what is going on in these schools now is criminal. It tells students that academic accomplishment is of secondary concern and their failure can always be blamed on others. I feel sorry for dedicated teachers who stand for hard work and success and equal treatment for all. The housekeeping needs to start at the top. The poor excuse we have for a government in Canada now is creating divisions that will take time to repair.
