I just love this essay. I really feel it for teachers who know how wrong this is, who love their job, their kids and love their age old profession. All I can say, is for those of us who know how misguided and familiar through history this identiarian collectivism is, you are not alone. In fact, I’m increasingly confident that Canadians are too smart for this. I’m in small ways, excited for where ever this is taking us. You are not alone in recognizing that to solve a problem it’s better to not recreate the problem. It’s clearly backwards thinking. Commonsense will come back if we all step forward just a bit.
