A clever and insightful article to celebrate the memory of a much maligned individual tasked with an unforgiving job set in a mine field of public opinion.
Thank you for this review. It is an excellent piece of writing. I found the emphasis on the need to respect those upon whose shoulders we stand to be especially poignant. Maybe it's an illusion, if that's all it is then so be it as I slip close to joining the Dead Canadians, but it's writings like this that give me hope for the future of my beloved Canada.
Thanks for writing this. I am from Montreal so I know of Mark Abley. I am not impressed with the guy.
Well. A devastating critique of Abley's book. Well substantiated though.
Good work.
