Its early yet, as soon as the vandals return to Queens Park we will see how serious Calandra is. And if he were really brave , Calandra would make it retroactive and return the name of Sir John A to school boards that erased Sir John A. Beginning with dysfunctional Waterloo and others.
The statue toppling was inspired by things that were happening in America, just as our newfound patriotism came about because mainly eastern Canadians wanted to give the finger to an American president. Kind of pathetic. Our only homegrown sign that we value freedom was the trucker convoy. Its leaders were jailed and humiliated.. Canada is in a very low place.
It is written that “the TDSB has been veering off course, hijacked by ideological agendas and neglecting the foundational purpose of public education. It’s time to get back to basics.” This clearly rational statement applies to school boards across Canada. In my last school district the superintendent only ever talked about equity and the iniquity of whites. My union and regulatory body remain DEI/woke fanatics. It has been intolerable for me, for ideological agendas have no place in schools.
It has been proven that nearly ALL 'far left' protesters were PAID! Apparently, for those who are on Facebook/Meta, there's a site that 'invites' people to protests whereby there is a stipend, how much I'm not aware of. Protesters sign up then show up knowing little about the situation just engage in the rants as directed. It IS widely known (or SHOULD BE) that SOROS has funded most, while he and CARNEY were 'advising' Trudeau and Freeland!! As we've witnessed, THOSE protests got very ugly yet was anyone charged and had their livelihood decimated vs the PEACEFUL TRUCKER CONVOY that served to unite much of Canada and the world and what was THAT outcome? The blatant hypocrisy is in our faces daily and it's ALL been designed and created by the WEF (New World Order) GLOBALISTS. MUCH has been written about the NWO, especially by A. Ralph Epperson, John Coleman, William Cooper, and in the March 1969 speech given in Philadelphia by Dr. Richard Day. ALSO, read Sunday's article by Matthew Ehret in substack as his historical content on Canada and Carney is excellent.

School Boards should never have the autonomy to make changes that deviate from national or provincial principals. The TDSB is a classic example of the dangers of such unrestrained control and the dystopia it creates. It is encouraging to see the province intervene on both matters, perhaps the federal gov't will be inspired to follow suite.

They can reconstitute any way they see fit.
