This should be reported everywhere in the land: “So far, there is no evidence of missing Indian residential school children. To date, a decade after the TRC finished its work and ceased to exist, Canadians have not been provided with the name of any child who ever went missing from an Indian residential school and whose parents didn't know what had happened to their child. Not a single one.”
The trope of missing children is part of the smoke and mirrors surrounding indigenous issues.
Thank you again Nina for you efforts to shed light on this den of inequity. It is not in the interest of the NCTR to release anything that might possibly expose it's foundation of lies and mendacious narrative.
It would be in the best interest of the NCTR to come clean and provide that report, thus proving all the divisiveness and financial costs to Canadian taxpayers was worthwhile. However, if NO report is forthcoming, and there's no evidence of the people mentioned as having been involved, then that TOO must be investigated. If there's nothing to hide why make an issue about it or for that matter ghost you with no response. ALWAYS follow the money because every complaint of wrong doing leads to a handout.
It seems most likely to me that the U of M senior people do not know what is going on at NCTR. Whether it is incompetence or deliberate deception is unclear, but NCTR has both refused to make material available to the public, as it is mandated to do, and misinformed the public by claiming that its list of 4,000 plus is of children who all died at residential schools. That is a false claim. Deliberate or negligent, who knows, but the U of M must fix this.
My gut tells me that the University is spearheading all this secrecy. It also tells me that they are protecting this documentation as though releasing it could end up sending them to prison, because it is that fraudulent.
The lie is a means to an end, which is control. Guilt the ignorant into compliance. Enrich the conflicted compliant with cash bribes. Communist tactics.

Excellent work.

But, hey, it's just my gut talking ...
All the best!
Interesting
Another excellent initiative.
