James Pew, as always, treads where mainstream journalists are banished by those who pull their strings. The passage that speaks to me most follows:
Referring to non-indigenous Canadians as “settlers” is gross. We shouldn’t stand for it. And we shouldn’t stand for the school system indoctrinating our children into believing they are “settlers” with a blood-libel which obligates and makes them “responsible” for indigenous people.
So well said. The word settler is a slur. It heaps collective guilt onto children. It serves the indigenous narrative of perpetual victimhood and as a corollary perpetual privileges and grift.
Excellent comments, as usual. The thing about Kendi is that his thesis that only current discrimination can cure previous discrimination (his supposed 'anti-racist' position, as opposed to simply 'non-racism') literally flies in the face of human wisdom going back to the beginning of time, and opposes the Golden Rule, an idea embraced by all cultures and all religions.
Very well written, James. The Sycophant like the Sociopath is a very real and dangerous element in society. They have the uncanny ability to latch onto to anything that might advance their personal agenda without any real comprehension or understanding and promote it with strenuous advocacy. V.P. Sore Ass seems to fit this template. I strongly lament the demise of our educational system and it's core basics necessary for an informed and functional society, the absence of which, has created a palpable knowledge vacuum within the community. No better example of this was the inexplicable decision by Parliament to unanimously declare, in less than a minute, that Canada was guilty of genocide or to applaud a former Nazi in the House of Commons.
What the HE.....double hockey sticks is going on ???
Clearly, as it now stands, there is an obvious leadership crisis in our government. Integrity, character and strength of conviction are traits of a former generation replaced in part by compliant sheeple unwilling to venture outside the safety of the herd. As Oliver Hardy once said:
