However, the HPOA of 2022 will ensure public protection and standardization of Counselling Therapists' Practices across the Board in BC for better services, public safety, and standardization of the scope of practice/entry to practice. It's an excellent initiative to regulate the counselling profession in British Columbia.

Serious question - What is a 'clinical counsellor'? How is it different from a psychotherapist? Also, what are the minimum academic qualifications to be a licensed therapist in BC? Thank you. Steven Lightfoot
