Outrageous but not surprising. The Woke are so sure of their superiority and mission they consider dissent heresy. Kudos to the brave parents for speaking up!
Excellent reporting. I was there. I was also at (and spoke about my concerns regarding secrecy policies) the following month's meeting where they threatened us (a packed room, btw, they had to open an entire extra theater for the numbers who showed up) that they might no longer allow people to speak at the meetings, so that they could "get their business done ". Their "business" should be OUR CHILDREN!! VOTE THESE PEOPLE OUT!!! (Except Linda Qin, we love her). Up to, and including, Director of Education, this board is useless and corrupt. Today I appealed to the Minister of Education regarding concerns I've had about administration at my child's school for years. Noone is holding them accountable, at all levels they just have each other's backs. We shall see if I'm ignored at this level as well. I am being bullied and they are trying to push me out of monitoring/involvement in his education. These people are tyrants. Protect your kids. Stand strong!
Pathetic response by trustee questioning the grandmother! Is this the best guidance. concern and direction to be given by a school board on a member of the publics concern? It is little wonder our education system is in trouble. What qualification do the school boards members have to make financial and educational decisions over thousands of youngsters? What rational citizen would want to be involved with the quagmire which masquerades as an educational board in the example just observed? Fortunately there are some brave souls. { A battered voice from the trenches!}
I ran for School Board Trustee in the last Ontario Municipals. While I was doing that I was learning about the evil going on. Mind you, the evil was so bad even in the 90's that I pulled my kids out and homeschooled.
Now I am using the materials and backing offered for free at Action4Canada.com, and have recently been given the role of Chapter Leader for Norfolk County, Ontario.

What about the grade 11 student in Renfrew who has been suspended for questioning who can use the girls bathroom??
