As a former teacher I have observed that educators--dominated by a particular type of middle class woman--are driven by one overriding credo: we are morally superior to you. Unfortunately, this precious, self-serving credo is inextricably bound up with so-called progressive ideas (or the idea that a certain ideas are progressive, that is), so that the educators grab onto them and deem anything that is NOT "progressive" to be morally and mentally inferior. So education has simply become an exercise in the showing off of educators' superiority--which manifests as righteous power-mongering.
I’m in Delta, BC and have been cut off at two separate school board meetings when I bring up inappropriate books. They now claim all these filthy books are protected under the human rights code. Even under the new bill C-16 introduced in 2017 to protect gender expression, there is nothing to imply that books about incest and rape are protected. Parents have to keep yelling and let these corrupt boards know we do not agree with their anti-family agenda!
Do these boards get major funding from those woke gov. people? Do as we say or you will not receive these funds? Blackmailed? Who pays them? Who is controlling them?

These Board Members are reacting out of fear. Fear of failure, fear of being wrong and fear of rejection by the herd.
