This is an excellent letter. I want to confirm that it is all true (I am sure it is, but need to check) and then, this may have to be presented at a delegation to the board. This cant stand unanswered by the OCDSB. I will make sure of that.
My God, where is the conservative government of Ontario minister of education on this? Can you imagine what things would be like if an ndp or liberal government gets in?
Excellent letter if only 50% of parents removed their children from these schools that would ultimately lead to 50% of teachers loosing their overpaid jobs. Homeschooling is the obvious answer for those that can arrange and afford it.
Unfortunately this trend will continue, I would like to see what the majority of tax payers with out children and or Grandchildren have their tax dollars go to for school boards

A very well written letter demonstrating considerable restraint and diplomacy completely undeserving for such an imbecilic, self centered, egotistical sycophant who personifies intolerance. Tragically, in many cases, this is the type of individual, who craves control and authority, advances up the ranks with the blessing of an indifferent Board and administration. Perhaps once the Ministry of Education awakens from its coma, parents in Ottawa might anticipate some relief, but realistically, I wouldn't hold my breath.

This letter is a the best example of why Canadians need to embrace Charter Schools.
The public school system monopoly cows parents into grumbling and stumbling in compliance but the yard sticks are ever changing. Now the School Boards openly despise parental oversight and are doing an end run by deliberately marginalizing parents and refusing to bring them into the discussion over sex and gender. The conceit of such logic is galling and it is running downhill from the Board through Superintendents all the way down to classroom instructors.
The only way forward is choice. When parents vote with their feet and have the ability to opt out of such authoritarian nonsense then maybe the Government will get in the game and enforce new ground rules for respecting the inherent rights of parents to oversee their children’s education.
