Totally off the wall. Their insanity just does not stop.

Igor definitely works in a school. He sees the obscene salaries top managers pay themselves for degrading public education. He sees the dishonesty in attributing black academic failings to others. He is insightful from stat to finish.

Roy, you don't see the irony with your statement. Guilty of what you just said, but the whole anti-woke movement--correction, anti-black movement--has been peppered with intimidation and name-calling. Cancel culture started with the right-wing and Dixie Chicks. Both the left and right are equally guilty of mismanaging the truth. I have done work with the Peel DSB regarding equity and mathematics. Do you know what most people think when you hear those two words? They think the mathematics has been compromised. It's the exact OPPOSITE. I was taught Pascal's Triangle in school. So were you. Pascal was the sixth person who discovered it. In fact, in Italy it is called the Tartaglia Triangle and in in China the Yang Hui Triangle. Fibonacci wasn't the first person to discover the number 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, etc. They were understood known by Sanskrit poets a few hundred years earlier, as those numbers came up in the exploring the construction of long and short vowels. The Dark Ages. For who? Europe. Not for the Persia/Middle East, as that was the Golden Age of Mathematics. So, when white folks use the word equity, it is in a pejorative way, reinforcing stereotypes and calcified ideas that are just flat out wrong.

I may be completely in error here, but the name Grewal rings a bell. If I am not mistaken the Simon Wiesenthal Centre may have this individual on their most wanted list. As the famous Holocaust survivor (the real Holocaust, not the fake Residential School one) Simon Wiesenthal once said, ""The combination of hatred and technology is the greatest danger threatening mankind."

The saddest thing about 'Igor's' common-sense post is he/she had to be anonymous. Is this what we have come to where he/she can't even explain an everyday set of classroom circumstances without being attacked as a racist? For over thirty years I taught in private schools, in high school and college and in a third-world country. In all cases we grouped students according to their ability...it made sense for everybody and nobody ever called me a racist for doing it ...least of all the students who needed the extra help. As 'Igor' surely knows we have a new group of trouble makers to deal with.

More garbage input from a racist convoy trucker. I wish white supremacists would just be more transparent about who they are instead of playing academic footsies. I mean, just put a hood on and call it a day. Also, this is a classic case of not reading the room. The total interaction is still less than the smallest chapter of the KKK.

Dave: instead of baseless name calling and equally baseless accusations of racism, why not counter-argue some of the salient points raised?
