I love this anti-woke news roundup, particularly about “the Judicial Review of the Caroline Burjoski incident, where the chair of the Waterloo District School Board accused her of human rights violations for criticizing books that trivialize sex-changes for children in elementary school libraries.” Good for Carolyn staying the course. I imagine I will be testing these waters in my case, as many tribunals and courts are woke which means their biased decisions do require review.

Thanks for giving us the update on the stirring rage of Canadians. It give me great hope to see our star fighters at the event back east standing with parents against this egregious agenda. The freak Antifa crowd are becoming less relevant to me and are looking more and more like Big Pharma shills. It wasn't that long ago that parents didn't even know what sogi was and now the mamma bears are starting to awaken with rage. This is very very good! We just need to see this rage in BC and it's starting to happen as well!

Yes, absolutely, the mama bears and papa bears are waking up, fast. When school boards started the process of keeping 'little secrets' from parents, and doing this DELIBERATELY, you had to know this was eventually going to explode. I can only speculate, but one might assume that some of the designers of these policies could anticipate serious parent blowback, and hence were not incentivized to widely publicize these policies.

I've been saying the same for a long time. That's kind of the point of my blog is to criticize the public education system. I'm a little disturbed by teachers who say their students are their kids. Some of them never had their own kids and really don't understand the teacher to student relationship is not the same at all. Parents need to take back the education system. https://unskool.substack.com/p/public-schooling-is-a-danger-america

Congrats to Chris Elson, Josh Alexander, Chanel Pfahl, Julia Mallot and everyone else making their voices heard at the Ottawa protests! Sanity is definitely getting some traction!

P.s. Article has a typo with Chanel's last name

I watched the rally on the news. Very impressive. Even some of the Moslem children got in on the action with a little flag stomping. Someone sent me a Meghan Kelly clip were she delivers a very powerful editorial denouncing the trans movement and referencing a very articulate poem by a 14 year old Irish H.S. student using the pseudonym Brandubh. I have listed the first part of the poem below:

I Am Not a Dress:

We are women, we are warriors of steel,

Woman is something no man will ever feel,

Woman is not a skill that any man can hone,

Woman is our word, and it is ours alone,

I am not a dress to be worn on a whim,

A man in a dress is nonetheless a him,

Women are not simply what we wear,

If this offends you, I do not care,

I would like to add one more thought. The Wall came out when I was in later high school, and although I heard it many times over (and over and over it seemed) I never really liked it, or especially identified with it (unlike many of my school mates). I recall seeing the movie, a few years after the album came out, and was till not especially moved. Pink Floyd it seems just wasn't my thing. FF to 2023, and yes the marquee song, and especially the highlighted lyrics, seem especially relevant now, and maybe have been for ten years. At least since the beginning of the serious politicization of the Ontario school system since about 2010. I now see it as our rallying cry. Thanks Shannon for bringing it all back.
