The most insidious part of this advisory is the section where it reminds us that as teachers we are not allowed to voice any opposing opinions anywhere. Not outside of school, not on our FB pages, not in ordinary conversations. Professional organizations should not be able to limit an individual's private speech in this way; I believe it should be unconstitutional. They should be regulating our professional activities and stay out of our private lives. They have been overreaching more and more and so far, no one has tried to stop them.
Think what you want about Jordan Peterson but this is exactly the fight he's been fighting - where a professional organization sought to limit his legal speech in a venue completely removed from the context of the organization's purview. And the courts upheld it. This is Canada. I wouldn't consider his tweets about Page, for example, to be nice or even advisable. But they were legal, and completely outside of a psychotherapeutic session - and he wasn't even practicing at the time. Canada's primary value, it seems, is "niceness". More so than honesty, honour, protection of children, equality under the law, etc. Niceness. And if you fail to be nice, you'll be dragged over the coals and beat down by the perfectly nice people.
The only reason Jordie got his shorts in a knot when they told him to watch his mouth, is because it impacted HIS career and life.
I lost all respect for him when he told the public it was no big deal to accept being locked down for the good of those who believed in the 'virus'. He said it was just for two weeks.
He was a socialist then and is still a socialist...until the socialists want to shut him up.
He should have remembered in 2020 when he said it was no big deal for us all to go along and close-down our lives for 2 weeks, that millions of us did not agree and we didn't need him to virtue-signal when he had nothing to sacrifice.
I had no reason to doubt you, so I just took your assertion as fact. However, an attempt to find the source failed. I went to AI and it said the following:
I couldn’t find any credible evidence that Jordan Peterson explicitly called for a two-week shutdown in spring 2020 to “flatten the curve.” I searched major interviews, podcasts, articles, and transcripts—including Reddit discussions and video highlights—but there’s no record of him endorsing a specific 14-day lockdown as a policy recommendation.
Here’s what I found:
A Reddit thread speculating on Peterson’s position didn’t show any direct quote or reference to a two-week shutdown .
Broader content from interviews and podcasts shows him questioning long-term pandemic measures, but I couldn’t locate any statement urging a two-week-only lockdown.
It’s possible someone paraphrased his general stance (“we should do something short-term”) into that meme, but no verbatim proof exists.
If you have a specific interview or quote in mind—like a timestamp or article—let me know and I’ll track it down more precisely.
Yes you did have a reason to doubt me because what I said does not comport with your 'belief' about Peterson. I listened to him say those very words and it disgusted me. When I went to find the video news report it was in to take a clip, it was gone. I wasn't the only one who was disgusted.
By now you have noticed how any important material about controlled opposition, socialists, communists, etc is censored. This is the case with this guy.
I don't remember if his admonishment to Canadians to just lock down for 2 weeks because it is the right thing to do for our fellow man, is in an excellent video titled 'Jordan Peterson Dismantled' or not, but it is an excellent reveal about Peterson.
The last time I looked the video was here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXYuqrO8LLo I saved it because I could see that much of his speeches and statements would eventually be scrubbed from the Internet as the public pushed back against these socialist/communists. I don't know how to load my saved copy, but if you need it, message me and I'll share it.
It is said, “Don’t discuss stereotypes (even though Critical Theory is entirely based on them).” Clever observation. Racism is a one-way street. Some groups get to be nasty and threatening while my race of pallor is guilty of micro aggressions for asking where someone is from.
Education (is not becoming but) has become indoctrination. Why any parent sends a kid to a public school to be subjected to this and - if everything goes well - become an activist on behalf of a racist and discriminatory anti-western ideology is fast becoming one of the more important questions about parental fitness. This alteration goes a long way to explaining how Canada became an unserious and broken country. Fixing the country means reversing this kind of 'education'. An I don't think that's ever going to happen.
Yes this stuff is terrible. This professional body is out of control. The only way it changes is if the Ontario Gov reigns it in, OR the elected members of the OCT take over, but this means a concentrated effort by a group of classical liberals to run in OCT elections. It CAN be done, but it takes real effort to free an institution like this once it has been captured progressive authoritarians.
What 'ontario government': it has been an imposter since 1931.
The only system that can put a bridle on something as noxious as DEI and its promoters is a solidly ratified constitution written by the people for the people of a republic. A republic is a government of the people with NO corporations running it. A corporatocracy, such as Canadas, men and women have no rights, they have only a corporation masquerading as government telling them when they can exercise a privilege.
Until everyone understand the difference, they will always think the 'government' should fix this or that.
NO!, the government fixes nothing. It is the People who fix and the government does as it's told to.
The hiring process in the Ontario School boards (and in quebec too) is very discriminatory based... THIS is the fact and it is NOT NEW but in operation for a long long time. In 2006 I went through a series of interviews to be hired by schools, several of them were located at a distance from Ottawa; i was ready to move in those remote locations if hired, yet was openly laught at and mocked by the 3 interviewers during one of those interviews, and this from the start point of this very interview.
There is NO shortage of teachers in Ontario (nor in Quebec, by the way, where i live now and experienced similar discriminatory behaviors); there is only planned discriminatory in the hiring process with the clear intention from the get go NOT to hire some people (who have all the diplomas required) sometimes based on decisions to cancel that specific individual, nowadays it seems to be done in order to pave the entry into the system for newcomers of others faith...
NOTHING new as far as discrimination is operating. Hopefully the fact that it is widely and openly done will open the eyes of those who have been priviledged in that same system... if they start to honestly think for themselves and recognize their (y) brillant career is not only due to their "smartness", but also to the cancellation of others at least as smart as they are... (recognizing such a thing might be a chalenge, I understand that, when you have been priviledge for whatever reason...)
“ since Jews are regarded as white (which is absurd)”. Come again? Most Jews are of Russian/Eastern European ethnicity. Just this past week I’ve seen articles about a lot of last names being changed. Netanyahu was one, from more Slavic to Jewish. And getting dna ancestry tests in Israel isn’t easy. My salesman is Jewish and he’s as white as I am. As is my neighbour.
Warning Once 'in the system' you have no way out and have to wait years for any sort of justice which came as a wimper with cancel culture in place and left unaddressed.
Imagine:
Here is Ontario College of Teachers employee, a teacher holding up an opened brown paperbag. Here is another picture of Mr. Rogers and Captain Kangaroo holding up an open brown paperbag.
Here is me in this news article holding up the same open brown paperbag to make a map while teaching in Quarantine Lockdown Isolation at virtual secondary school with the largest school board in Canada.
CBC Feb 2 2021 "Mom outraged after LCBO bag used as example in Indigenous art class to make medicine bags. TDSB says it has removed the teacher from the class"
...and is an untruth in its entirety...accept for the fact that the young self-taught artist's submission is before artmaking has even begun, the indigenous guest has not been funded, the students have no art supplies and this piece of art was an exemplar for appropriation, plagarism and misappropriation.
While COVID is raging the government of ontario deems the largest wholesaler of liquor an essential service in the province our schools are not.
dTbOCT does not blame students for their sometimes outrageous behaviours post-pandemic 'cell phones' 'social media' 'online bullying' 'absenteeism' 'disrespect'; it is the adults who are to blame.
Here in this CBC News article using a paperbag deemed that this act of "racism". This boo-boo is not a true racist act but instead its consequences have ruined a student's and parent's trust, denounced the spirit of giving and celebration of her artmaking and a teacher's career, reputation, integrity as an artist, teacher and child advocate destroyed.
All artmaking from over 200+ students during VIRTUAL-only school during the Pandemic were banned from the end of year Virtual Art Show. They were brilliant pieces of art, self-taught.
These artmaking pieces made by 14 years of age to 16 year olds illustrate how their artmaking was never celebrated, hi-jacking for political and financial purposes and not mirroring the true spirit of these emerging teens.
Following the same logic, Mr. Rogers, Mr. Captain Kangeroo are in league with teacher dTbOCT. That is, following the government, the school board, college of teachers, the largest school board in canada's narrative, Mr Rogers and Captain Kangaroo adhumously have taken a paperbag from under a kitchen sink and expropriated this brown paperbag as a racist act.
We find that the liquor control board of canada has one of the best paperbags in the country and a good material for creating art WITH A FREE MATERIAL in the time of providing NO ART SUPPLIES.
Without funds for any art supplies and transitioning Grade8ers graduating without report cards with "no lead pencil, no eraser, no coloured pencils and no white paper... I have yellow paper with blue lines on it" impacted all.
The students 'brain-stormed' what type of paperbag was suitable UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK- Sobeys Grocery Store large bag, Macdonald's Hamburger Take-Out paperbag, Chinese Take-Out Bag, Liquor Store brown paperbag, Value Village Charity Paperbag.
This Province of Ontario visual art teacher dTb OCT was forced to use a brown paperbag for a Land Acknowledgement Map (not a Medicine Bag). There is no medicine bag lesson for it does not exist.
Since 2017 'Endangered Animals of Canada' projects have been created on heavy watercolour paper, acrylic paints on rocks and during COVID on paperbags. We studied textures and animal realism in drawing. Ironically the author of the CBC News report on a facebook page in 2015 posted the very similar project of Endangered Animals BUT that class had the funds for sculpting paperclay, we did not (thus paperbag animal drawings)
dTb has never have taught 'how to make a medicine bag' and has been under protest repeating to administrators and colleagues thirty-three times since 2017, "find an indigenous person to teach their own artmaking and culture from This Land."
The sophisticated treatment of the paperbag and this student's masterfully executed drawing was misappropriated by the author of the CBC news report without permission of parent student nor teacher. This news report is for financial and political gain and infringes on the power of the parent-teacher-student relationship IN TRUST. This relationship was breached.
This mother is a colleague in the same department as dTbOCT. She would be aware of this lack of funding at the start of VIRTUAL school in COVID lockdown isolation quarantine. She would also be aware of our indigenous guest to teach 'how to make a medicine pouch'.
The self-taught 'medicine bag' as a hurried gift for an indigenous guest who was NOT funded for 2020 school year and whose workshop was cancelled was followed by this 14 year old's parent signature on the school board's plagarism form and with permission this student and parent was posted as an 'exemplar' on <elearningontario.ca> online learning. We, students and this teacher all conceded it was a superior piece of artmaking and each became aware of the meaning of plagarism though admittedly learning about MISAPPROPRIATION while in Grade 8 Social Studies did NOT know that plagarism of art works (RED BUBBLE) also meant visuals as well as written works.
Our Mohawk Matriarch who had previously taught a medicine pouch workshop in 2018 and was contained in the 12 June 2020 budget was rejected and instead these funds of close to $4000.
were used to purchase ipad MINIS that sat in a locked office for the entire pandemic while this teacher and her students went without.
In class, a critique on appropriation and plagarism was held in class on 2 Oct 2020 only a few days after the launch of this COVID-19 Grade 9 art course. This mother not only sent this image and report to CBC there was an Ontario College of Teachers Investigation, a Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario hearing(s), Letters of Discipline.
In the end HRTO found no human rights had been violated. Investigations proved no racism; but the ruin harm thoughtlessness lack of due diligence and cancellation of this teacher was destructive 'beyond the pale'. dTbOCT

I don't hate, but:
I think DEI shills are obnoxious;
I think the people who run the education system are socialists and communists;
I think the drag queens 'reading' and parading around children are likely pedophiles;
I think the school trustees are complete and utter idiots;
I think that the political class that sold us out to the UN should be prosecuted for treason and hung;
I think that until normal people come to their senses, the lunatics will continue to destroy the asylum.
No doubt I will get anti-hate propaganda in my mailbox. If I was in charge of Ontario, they would get walking papers in their mailboxes.
The woke left are toxic, and particularly dangerous as health professionals.
