I realize this would simply bump Lemieux to teaching history (or something else), but does WSIB have nothing to say about this? Does the school’s, the board’s, the teachers’ safety committee say nothing? The few pictures I’ve seen, this person’s hands are at his sides (even when sitting). What happens if a kid suffers a seizure, or an injury from a saw kicking back? Will this costume get in the way of provided immediate first aid? How on earth is it okay for a shop teacher, of all things, to model unsafe work practices - never mind the rest of it.
