Tragedy, Absurdity, Farce & Institutional Horror in BC Gender News
A Weekly Report on the Canadian Gender Wars - May 5, 2023 Vol 14
By
- Writing from the cusp of stage and filmWe’re focusing on the west coast this week with our weekly report. I’m covering a tragedy in the Okanagan, an ongoing farce in the lower mainland and systemic atrocities in the social services sector that demand the rise of heroes.
BC is the leading indicator of how far the farces of genderwang can go in the rest of the country, a foreshadowing of things to come if we cannot confront woke despotism in meaningful way.
I begin with the sad report of a child in BC, born a girl, who began medical transition without her mother’s knowledge at the age of thirteen at a Kelowna clinic. In the article mom interviews as being supportive of the daughter’s transition, but with regrets at the quality of care and follow-up, and grief that she was not involved with her child’s medicalization process.
The mother pointed to the suicide of a child of friends, on the same injections as her daughter the year before saying without reference, “Preliminary findings is one in five of these kids are taking their lives” while calling for better safeguarding in gender care.
There’s lots we don’t know about this tragedy. We live in a world of self-censorship and enforced ideological compliance and I am compassionately giving the mom a lot of space in my interpretations of the article for reasons that will become clear later in this piece.
As a parent who is critical of the role of schools, clinics and social institutions myself, I am well aware of how cruel and vicious gender activists can be in their attacks. There is no low they won’t got to to protect their fantasies and delusions by abusing others. I could easily see that one wrong word from the mom about her reservations and regrets would result in hundreds of activists and cultists piling on to her and blaming her for her daughter’s suicide.
The gender orthodoxy is savage, without the capacity to reason, without regard for human life and the safety of children. It is plain to anyone who questions it.
I turn briefly to the story of Amy Hamm, the embattled BC nurse suffering the farcical inquisition before the BC College of Nurses and Midwives. Someone pointed out on Twitter this week that the word Midwife, means “With Women” but the licensing body of BC is most clearly not with women when it comes to men appropriating womanhood, nor with anyone who says on their own time, in their private lives, that a man cannot ever be one.
This week a decision in the Hamm Vs BCCNM saga: a rejection of an application to drop the investigation because of the bias of a her accuser and public proclamations of Hamm’s guilt in the Globe & Mail. The trial will continue for ten more days in October of this year.
If this is beginning to sound like a trial we would expect to hear about in Russia or China or North Korea, or the Hunger Games, these Kafkaesque shows will become even more normal in Canada with the full capture of the Law Society this week in Ontario by radical DEI activists. As the licensing body in Ontario, we can expect that they will demand all lawyers in Ontario sign a statement of political filiality to social justice activism, and that ideological witch hunts of lawyers will follow.
We must realize who our enemies are in this war and what they are capable of because the policies they institute in the world of gender and beyond are not about people, they are about power and power alone.
This week I had the pleasure of speaking with numerous think-tank people, including the head of Los Altos institute in BC, Stuart Parker. Parker, undergoing ongoing cancellation attacks told a small group that the BC Child Protection services, under the BC Health Ministry, has the power to apprehend children and place them in state care if it determines that a family is not sufficiently supportive of a child’s stated gender identity.
I knew it was bad.
Let it sink in.
In British Columbia, the state can take away your children if you don’t promote state beliefs sufficiently in your private family life.
This is another reason why I extend compassion and give space to the poor mom in Vernon. She lost her little girl to suicide. I have a child at risk and I give her a lot of room in the subtext.
Let us amplify her calls that more effort be placed in child safeguarding when it comes to gender identity, and let us call out the policies of the state, and the orthodoxy that controls it.
It’s all about power remember, not at all about people.
I’ll leave you this week with the words of Charlie Chaplin’s famous speech from “The Great Dictator,” a film and player bridging an old world and a new. If you haven’t watched in a while, I find it more chilling, more thought provoking, and more hopeful every day.
Soldiers! Don't fight for slavery! Fight for liberty! In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: “the Kingdom of God is within man” not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power, the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then in the name of democracy, let us use that power, let us all unite! Let us fight for a new world, a decent world that will give men a chance to work, that will give youth a future, and old age a security. By the promise of these things, brutes have risen to power. But they lie! They do not fulfill that promise! They never will! Dictators free themselves, but they enslave the people! Now let us fight to fulfill that promise! Let us fight to free the world, to do away with national barriers, to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance. Let us fight for a world of reason, a world where science and progress will lead to all men's happiness. Soldiers! In the name of democracy, let us all unite!"

Signing up children to be lifetime medical experiments. Jeez. Ms. Hamm unfortunately faces an uphill battle, especially considering the new agreement just ratified by the BCNU and whatever else that union is called. The bargaining agreement fully embraces DEI, "inclusion" and race-based medicine and medical practice. I wish her luck. Maybe I will be lucky enough to work on some more of the hearing, although I found the parts I did work on to be unbelievably weird.
This is sliding into madness. In fact, I think we're already there. I sense a pushback occurring, despite the risks of speaking out, although that is very bad news concerning the Ontario Law Society. Many transgender and gender non-conforming people have Cluster B personality traits, such as borderline personality disorder, narcissism, etc., or autism, people with autism are five or more times more likely to present as having gender non-conforming issues. Playing into their fantasies makes them worse. The suicide rate among such people does not decline upon transition. I am familiar with particular cases. Years ago, anorexia was the illness of the day, and many young girls were caught up in the hype and hysteria of the time, now we don't hear much about that, we hear of many young girls wanting to transition, that's the trend of the time, being gender non-conforming. It's all a bit of an adolescent game until the hormone treatments and surgeries. This is serious business.
