The victimology theory surrounding residential schools leaves out the fact that the schools were mostly within Native communities and staffed in part by Natives. According to a past IRS teacher, “in the two schools I lived in, about 50% of the employees were Indigenous and many of the children were relatives or children of friends.” Will Native staff be paying reparations?
The projection of guilt is the point. The guilty never pay, and the innocent are told to take a knee to prove they are guilty. Control is the point here.
