This is a remarkably comprehensive and important article. I was in two schools in the last decade that quietly groomed kids, and teachers like me who objected ran afoul of the administration. Schools were competing to see who had the most trans kids. The one with the most kids undergoing “gender-affirming care” was seen as the most virtuous.

It's painful reading this, even though there is absolutely nothing surprising about any of it. We need more documentation like this because even though the provinces are technically in charge of their own education systems, in reality they automatically follow the federal guidelines. Obviously some school divisions are much worse than others in this regard.

I wrote about this same issue a little over a year ago. The crazy thing is this: I'm in what is literally one of the most (if not THE most) conservative areas in the country, and it's even an issue here. To me that means it's an issue everywhere.
