This is a remarkably comprehensive and important article. I was in two schools in the last decade that quietly groomed kids, and teachers like me who objected ran afoul of the administration. Schools were competing to see who had the most trans kids. The one with the most kids undergoing “gender-affirming care” was seen as the most virtuous.

I think that is correct, many teachers are against this, but its pushed by activist bureaucrats in the boards. There is this one guy employed at the OCDSB in policy, who was a co-author of some seriously deranged shit published by Western (I think) and its these quiet people behind the scene that can do incredible damage.

It's painful reading this, even though there is absolutely nothing surprising about any of it. We need more documentation like this because even though the provinces are technically in charge of their own education systems, in reality they automatically follow the federal guidelines. Obviously some school divisions are much worse than others in this regard.

I wrote about this same issue a little over a year ago. The crazy thing is this: I'm in what is literally one of the most (if not THE most) conservative areas in the country, and it's even an issue here. To me that means it's an issue everywhere.

Another thing that has become all too apparent is that as far as this topic is concerned, it is pretty much as bad as all the so-called "conspiracy theories" say that it is. Those who attempt to dismiss it as "right-wing sensationalism" have either:

1. Never looked into it themselves, or

2. They know exactly what's going on and either don't care or are purposely complicit.

My generous assumption is that more often than not, it's #1 and they just don't want to rock the boat.

Great article. You have done a great job documenting the ideological insanity. And yes this needs to get cleaned up from the top down, yet the Ontario government seems hesitant to act.

Also, while this shit is everywhere, I think Waterloo and the GTA has it the worst. Some schools in the OCDSB in Ottawa are badly affected by aggressive ideologues, but its more on a school by school basis. Some appear to be OK.

Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder recognized by the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic Manual and should be treated as such. Glorifying and promoting this mental illness in schools reflects the depths of depravity and delusion that supposedly educated people have sunk to in an effort to appear politically correct. In their crusade for sycophantic accolades and peer recognition they have substituted erroneous opinions for scientific fact and created an intolerable atmosphere poisonous to both parents and students.

Every parent should be reading this article. But how?

My experience is that parent council doesn’t seem to be a mechanism where the parent voice is heard. If I was on parent council, there would be no way this message could be brought to attention of parents. First, would there be enough support/votes among council members? Many parents aren’t interested in participating in parent council, especially in areas with two working parents; they don’t have luxury of time. The principal has control of the email list of the parents of kids. There is a student rep and a teacher/union rep on the council. I’m sure they would not be promoting the parent voice.
