“When peace comes we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons. Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”
― Golda Meir, A Land of Our Own: An Oral Autobiography

Canadians can no longer afford to be uniformed or neutral regarding the conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Palestine. At play is the same academic, media, and activist forces that mislead the public over everything from issues around gender ideology in schools, to the widely repeated claim that North America is systemically racist, to the promotion of coercive measures that forced reluctant healthy citizens to inject untested vaccines, and on and on and on.
Fair and balanced reporting in the West concerning Israel has been a major problem for decades. When the Left takes up an issue, you can expect their biased media to discard objectivity. When it comes to the middle east, they frame Palestinians as victims of the scourge of “settler colonialism.” According to far-Left woke activists, the “Free Palestine” movement is about “anti-colonial resistance” and “decolonization.” However, those informed of the history of the region, and more importantly, of Islam and its unhealthy relationship with Jew hatred and terrorism, know that the activists who frame the situation in the Gaza Strip and West Bank as an “apartheid occupation,” have distorted an untenable scenario resulting squarely from the intense hatred of the Jewish people embodied in the radical Islamic fundamentalism of the notorious terrorist group, Hamas.
As will be shown in upcoming essays on the Israel-Palestine conflict, the issue is not one that can be solved with negotiations. What many Westerners do not understand about Hamas, and radical Islam by extension, is that they have vowed to kill or evict the Jews from the Arabian peninsula, and the entire world. Islam is an expansionist religion, their goal is global Islamic domination including universal installation of Sharia Law. If they ever achieved their top priority and exterminated every last Jew from the planet, next on the chopping block would be the Christians, Western atheists, and all other infidels (non-Islamic people). Radical Islam is conducting holy war with the world - whether the world wants it or not - the crisis in Israel represents a consequential battle in a larger struggle: Radical Islam vs. Western Civilization.
However, Canadians are being misled about the true nature of the world through propaganda that comes packaged in nice sounding phrases, like “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion,” and “Decolonization,” and “Anti-racism” - these things are leaving many Canadians unequipped to grapple intellectually with the reality that Palestinians are in fact not oppressed by Jews who have stolen their land. Not only was no land stolen, but virtually every measure that Israel has taken, has been to protect the Jewish people from those who would surely murder their children if given the chance. When a group of people have vowed to destroy you, and have acted out their murderous intentions on countless occasions, whatever you do to protect your people from inevitable and relentless assault can only be formulated as self defense. If given no other choice, an enemy conspiring to destroy you, must themselves be destroyed.
As long as there are people walking the planet who self-declare membership into radical Islam, who scream “Gas the Jews” in the streets of Western countries, and worse in other parts of the world, the Jews (and civilization) will not be safe and have every right to act in self-defense. Rooted in a profoundly ignorant luxury belief, Western media reserves for the Jewish people a special scale for measuring morality. When the Jews act in self-defense, the dis-involved moral authority claims they are being intolerant or oppressive. Which other group is asked to rise to a level of unprecedented virtue, to so easily forgive or turn a blind eye to imminent evil? No one but the Jewish people pay the price for the laissez-faire attitude toward radical Islam's intentions to eradicate Jews. After what happened last Saturday in Israel, how can non-Jewish people expect Jews to forgive-and-forget or sit down at the bargaining table with their avowed murderers?
The bad ideas that got us here
Under the framework of Settler-Colonialism, Palestinians are claimed to be indigenous to the area, while Jews are thought to be unwelcome invaders, similar to non-aboriginal Canadians and Americans, “settlers” who stole the land and continue to oppress the original occupants through ongoing occupations and genocides.
All of this comes from postcolonial theory, an ideology originally established with the 1978 book, Orientalism, by Palestinian scholar Edward Said. Later in 1999, Australian academic Patrick Wolfe, built on the premise of postcolonial theory with his book Settler Colonialism and the Transformation of Anthropology. The most recent iteration of this ideology is the movement called “decolonization.” Postcolonial theory and decolonization operating within the greater framework of modern Leftism, are directly responsible for a number of phenomena found within the sphere of Israel–Palestinians relations. Post-colonial theory, settler colonialism, and decolonization are used to short-circuit both logic and morality - extending to the justification of kidnapping and killing Jews.
According to Leftist theory, any measure taken by Palestinians to liberate themselves from the oppression of Jewish settler-colonizers, is fair game (Repressive Tolerance). As mentioned, the Left does not judge those they perceive as victims on the same scale of morality as those they accuse of oppression. And the Jews, the most historically persecuted group on the planet, the survivors of the Holocaust, are given the least leeway concerning moral judgment and are expected on all occasions to practice a form of impossibly blameless rectitude. No other group of people, no other country, is asked to exercise restraint, to negotiate, or to extend a hand in peace, with an adversary who is hellbent on their destruction. It is clear that no gesture of peace will ever be accepted by Hamas terrorists - who have run the government in the Gaza Strip, maintaining popular support in excess of 50%, since the only election of the second Palestinian Legislative Council in 2006.
In truth, the Jews have no interest in oppressing Palestinians, and further, have no interest in occupying the Gaza Strip or the West Bank. However, what is not generally understood by Westerners, is that Israel absolutely must control all movements in and out of Palestine and prevent Palestinians from entering Israel. The borders of Israel, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank must be tightly controlled by Israeli security at all times, this includes all movements of people and materials in and out of these regions.
Why?
Because if Israel doesn’t actively prevent the importation of the materials necessary for Hamas to realize their murderous dreams of destroying Israel and killing all the Jews, then Hamas will absolutely import the materials necessary to destroy Israel and kill all the Jews. There is no negotiating with this death cult. Hamas must be destroyed or Israel will be destroyed.
I’ll leave it at that for today, but watch for a number of essays coming soon where I will be going into much greater detail regarding the history of the Jews in Israel, the history of Israelis-Palestinian relations, and the history of radical Islam.

Hamas’s massacre of 1,200 Israeli civilians, in addition to being the greatest humanitarian outrage ever visited on the state of Israel, is also an act of both rehabilitation and self-erasure, and an enormous tactical blunder. Overnight, Hamas reestablished the legitimacy of the Israeli government, which had been hanging by a thread under an authoritarian prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, currently on trial for corruption by a judiciary whose independence he’s trying to destroy. One Hamas gunman filmed himself shooting an elderly woman, using her cell phone, then posted the video to Facebook and set her house on fire. This wasn’t a military operation; it was a Jew-killing spree. Hamas allied itself with its own gravediggers by guaranteeing a furious military response, which has already begun, in which Israel will endeavor to remove every trace of the terrorist group from Gaza.
Thank you for peeling away some of the tissue of cultural Marxist/Islamic lies. Israel's biggest mistake was succumbing to its own leftist elements - and the lie - that the Arab residents of the so-called West Bank (historically Judea and Samaria) and the Gaza Strip were ever a distinct culture or people who ever wanted statehood. You don't reject all offers with more terrorist attacks if that is your goal. But you do if you've been planted there by an Islamic hegemony who wants you dead.
Said PLO leader Zuheir Mohsen in the Dutch newspaper Trouw (March 31, 1977): "The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.... [T]he moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."
I suggest that now is an excellent time for the so-called Palestinians to exit the Gaza Strip (and Judea/Samaria) to reunite themselves with their Jordanian - or Syrian or Lebanese or Egyptian - brothers.
