In this week’s Canadian Gender Wars Report, while wearing our holiday hats, we cover the big stories of the week in Gender Ideology.  Melody Wiseheart, aka Nicholas Cepeda, the fifty-year-old head of the mental-gymnastics department at York University competing and changing with teen girls in Ontario swim competitions, makes international headlines, getting coverage on Sky News and with Meghan Kelly among others.

An Indigenous transgender offender in Edmonton is released by police who warned public that he is a dangerous child predator they expect to re-offend.  Written as “she” in the media, Is promptly arrested again for violating bail conditions, in possession of child-related materials.

Windsor Lakeshore returns to basic flag policy after being inundated with requests to fly flags of various religions, countries, causes and celebrations.  Windsor Pride claims this makes the LGBTQ+ community unsafe.  Implies, by extension, that not flying a Christian flag, makes Christians unsafe. 

Kawartha MP Michelle Ferreri Peterborough-Kawartha region does a cost benefit on the menstrual products mandates in men’s room and Billboard Chris builds on her suggestion advising/joking that employees should take these from all bathrooms and donate them to food banks.  Marci Ien, Minister for Women and Gender Equity attacking Ferreri, get’s ratio’d on Twitter/X attempting to discredit Ferreri. 

Ferreri is also the sponsor of the most successful federal petition in Canadian History, to call for a vote of no confidence in the House of Commons on the Trudeau government. 

April Hutchinson, suspended from powerlifting competition for two years because she spoke out against Ann Andres.  It seems the heavyweight weakling can’t move women to accept him in women’s powerlifting competitions.  Hutchinson has 8,000 signatures on a petition on her behalf and we also learned that Justice Center for Constitutional Freedoms lawyer, Lisa Bildy is representing her. 

Epoch Times covers parental organizers across the country in a meta piece about the impact of concerned parents across the country.  Shannon is quoted in the final paragraphs about success-stories of parents in Durham Region with the school board.

Pierre Barns, Canada’s leading expert on sexually explicit kids books in school libraries, is subject of hit piece by French language ICI Radio Canada, framing parents as extremists.  Covering BC efforts to recall Rachna Singh.  English CBC does a better job of covering New Brunswick713 legal challenges as fourteen rainbow activist intervenor groups and two gender critical groups line up to give testimony to the challenge of Blaine Higgs and his Conservatives standing against secret-keeping in schools about gender transition. 

Carolyn Burjoski and JCCF launch appeal on the Judicial review decision where the judge failed to find fault with the Waterloo School board who censored her in a school board meeting in January of 2022.  JCCF is representing Carolyn pro-bono in this appeal for the sake of protecting larger issues of speech in Canada and our capacity to criticize the government.

A Montreal Endocrinologist speaks out in the Wall Street Journal to immediate hysteria from radical gender activist from US.  Roy Eappen observes 50^th anniversary of declassification of homosexuality as pathology, writes about new conversion therapy transing the gay away.
