There are definitely government dollars involved.. at all levels. Here you can see the federal, provincial, and city logos on the Carousel Theatre's site:

Summer drag camps for kids. What could possibly be wrong with that. Apparently nothing if you subscribe to the Theatre of the Absurd. Perhaps the exposure could inspire another Mrs. Doubt Fire or Dame Edna. The possibilities are endless and none of them beneficial to young impressionable minds. As Arthur Schopenhauer once said:

There is no absurdity so palpable but that it may be firmly planted in the human head if you only begin to inculcate it before the age of five, by constantly repeating it with an air of great solemnity.”

I can't believe the "ageism" of these activists. Where are the drag summer camps for old guys like me? $460.00 for ages 7-11 and only $900.00 for ages 12-17. And "free" make-up as well. I so, need a manicure and moisturization --- and they won't give it to me. Haters!!!

This is indeed a useful summary of the radical-left workings and 'counterculture resistance' building a head of steam in time for the next solar cycle peak in 2025... As I commented in the National Post - "Last time I checked pedagogy does not include making up public holidays to confuse children further. Just as a word or pronoun is irrelevant to most preschool and elementary students, catering to every special perceived need is unnecessary taken as a whole. Caring, supportive education with good preparation for the real world is more constructive. Leave the woke club of groupthink for the cult it is and keep that dreck and drivel away from our institutions to make our country a better place to live."

Fun article that brings me up to date. My favourite excerpt: "It’s only logical that Mother’s day will soon be “Birthing Parent Day” to not hurt Fae’s feelings. Toronto Star it seems, will gladly put up an opinion piece that says anything less would be hate."

Fae - Trump-level hyperbole? Perish the thought.
