NHL Pride Ban, Egale Canada & Violent Social Justice Exposed! Union Grievances & Decolonization
Canadian Gender Wars Report Weekly - vol. 28
By
& Melanie BennettThe big story of the week is in Israel which has dominated the headlines. This has implications for a number of major organizations in Canada including student unions, teachers’ unions and a certain Ontario union leader we’ve been tracking for a few weeks.
Also: New study findings about increased cardiac risks to people on cross-sex hormones.
We also talk about Egale Canada and Eva Kurilova - Canada’s Preeminent lesbian, exposes a long Trudeau connection to the organization as she does a deep dive on the history of Egale and the millions of tax dollars being used to brainwash kids and destroy women’s sports.
Also on the docket: the NHL is somewhat over the rainbow; The Notwithstanding clause in Saskatchewan and a parent’s bill of rights; The big theme for the week is the relationship between “decolonization,” social justice activism and gender ideology.
There is a lot of division and polarization in the world right now and in Canada. And there are big implications for the parent’s rights movement, as well as for Wokeism in general.

The Danish study referred to in the link
Glintborg et al. https://doi.org/10.1530/EJE-22-0306
is hard to interpret. By "cardiac risk" they really mean stuff like high blood pressure, obesity, high cholesterol, and diabetes, not actual events like heart attacks and strokes. With most of the subjects being in their 20s, you wouldn't expect to see more than very rare heart attacks and strokes. But for people who are going to get these hormones for many years you might well see these serious life-threatening events occurring more frequently and earlier in life than you would otherwise expect. The extra risk of these so-called "metabolic" factors in trans people getting hormones will mean many more people will need to take drugs for these conditions (intended to reduce the chance of getting heart attacks) for many years, in addition to their hormones!
So the study raises important red flags about serious health troubles down the road, but let's not imagine that 25-year-old trans people are dropping dead from heart attacks on account of their hormones. Edit: The researchers deserve a big shout-out for doing a controlled study, too.
