I hope Trudeau reads this: “They do not hesitate to promote historical self-hate, persist in attacking excellence in education, insist on targeting school children with their toxic ideologies, and claim the moral high ground for their destructive, divisive, self-satisfying, narrow-minded approach. Some of them even become Prime Ministers, lie through their teeth, waste the hard-earned money of the population to no end, and name-call or label the people who disagree with them and whom they are expected to serve.” As a teacher, I have seen the woke proselytizers target children. Now it’s time for all of us to target the proselytizers.
Its downright embarrassing how the Canadian Establishment (especially the Laurentian crowd) has taken on the mantle of self-loathing. The academic and cultural 'elite' are to be held in contempt. Where is the recognition that we live in a wonderful country, despite its flaws? Why is there so much focus today within academia (and the cultural "leadership") on grievance, and chronic attempts to stoke resentment? Happiness (and success) only really comes by having an attitude of gratitude, for all the good we have. In Canada, we have far more good than bad, and that applies to ALL Canadians.
What a truthful rendition of what our country has become thanks in large part to the path the corrupt far left Trudeau government has taken us down for the past 8 years. God help us all if he wins another election, then this country and its people are surely done for.
The majority of this country is not under Trudeau's spell, the problem is how our electoral boundaries are set up which amounts to if you can't capture 905 in Toronto and Quebec, than you can't win. Trudeau is despised by many, but as long as Toronto and Quebec still vote for him it really doesn't matter what the rest of the country wants or thinks. And he knows it. So very, very sad.
I am a Canadian immigrant who loves Canada and hates what it has become. How mind-blowingly different was the cultural milieu, beliefs, and attitudes when the anthem was written, and how much better off we'd be to return to them.
Its perfectly reasonable. and a sign of inner strength and maturity, to be able to own your mistakes and sincerely apologize for past transgressions. Once. Maybe twice. Doing so on a regular basis, to the point of it being a cultural norm in certain circles, is its own form of psychopathology.
People need to stop complaining and get to working, we need to take our government back from the inside and up, we need candidates to run with Integrity to get us back on track, including union positions, we need to recapture our country to get the pendulum back to centre
Mr. Bruce Pardy is a great guy with a great mind and humble. He will directly respond to your questions and is very pleasant to speak to. Another tireless warrior.
I don't disagree with the article. But including some evidence would make your article hold more weight; then people couldn't just argue against your "opinion" but they would have to try to refute facts.

Fully agree with your take on the impact JT has had on our country during the past 8 years. And he still gets away with almost everything he does!
We surly need God's interference to wake people up! They seem to be under his spell, only God knows why!

First, by getting rid of the FPTP electoral system (as Justin promised "all Canadians" but then reneged with lame excuses), we will be a step closer to truly responsible government that reflects the voices of the people. Indeed, I had a short e-mail dialog once with him, a real gentleman.

Keep it up, however!
Far too late we are screwed.
