For context, it's worth knowing that 94% ($981,348 out of $1,040,163) of Parents of Black Children's most recent operating budget came from the provincial government. So it looks like we're actually paying for the extremist ideological advocacy. See https://apps.cra-arc.gc.ca/ebci/hacc/srch/pub/dsplyBscSrch.

And from a conservative government. Insanity.

I can concur that 'the number of people being sent home (with full pay) because of frivolous, exaggerated, or flat-out fabricated claims is absolutely out of control" and that "the damage done to dedicated life-long educators and their families are never even considered, and even in cases like this where the accused are fully exonerated, the damage cannot be undone." Racism is treated as a scourge by woke fanatics, but there was much less of it before they infected school and society with their skin-colour hustle, their equity communism, their open resentment toward others, their grift.

Well, a bit of good news. Hurrah!

I wonder if the fact that multiple administrators were accused was relevant. The powers that be tolerate only a limited number of stones thrown at them.

Speaking of DIE..... or DEI...... there is this....coming to a library near you.... FIRST READING: B.C. library boasts of program to explicitly reject white job applicants

Discriminatory hiring is illegal, but not if the B.C. government gives you a special exemption for "equity" purposes

"Davies’ report to the board had praise for their efforts to build an “exempt staff group” free of white staff members.

She quoted one member of the group who said it allows library staff to make an improved connection to ethnic patrons in their own language. “More than just, like, white people working. I think it feels better,” they reported."

One small win at a time, but this isn't going away until these groups are dismantled and not allowed any air time at all. No one has the guts in leadership to stand up and take a stand against this toxic group or any other race hustler grievance group ruining out education today. We will continue to loose great teachers to this scurvy until its eradicated.

This is communist grooming, bringing more people into the communist cult through grievance studies and theory. The communists redefine terms to make it confusing, when they say white supremacy, they mean capitalists.

Thanks for this good report and your insightful commentary, Igor. There is indeed a flicker of optimism in this outcome.

One of your statements might be seen as misleading, just because of its wording.

<< . . . much like the allegations of abuse reported by Indigenous people at the infamous Truth and Reconciliation Commission, where they were actually paid to report abuses, and paid more the more disturbing the allegations they made. >>

Incremental settlements were awarded as part of the Independent Assessment Process based on a points system devised prior to the TRC, but the IAP was a separate claims program. To my knowledge “survivors” weren’t paid for their testimony at TRC hearings, although travel expenses and counselling, etc., were often funded.

At the hearings there certainly were cultural and “ambient” pressures/inducements to present the most disturbing allegations, as you say. (Plus discouragement from sharing less-horrific experiences!)
